This was a birthday treat for my fiancée and I to go to Crockers for their Chef's Table tasting menu. It absolutely blew our minds as to how delicious all the food was plus being able to see the chefs at work at preparing and plating all the food was amazing. By no means could I say I'm any kind of food critique but everything tasted sensationally good.
Great attention to detail and interaction with all the staff and chefs throughout adds a nice personal touch to proceedings as well.
One or two minor points were that after having had about 2 weeks off to do some renovations on the restaurant, they hadn't any mint or crushed ice for a couple of their pre-dinner cocktails. That was a shame but by no means a disaster.

Crockers rules - a true culinary experience without being at all showy. Chef’s Table showcases great dishes alongside playful commentary from the team in an informal setting. It’s really fun to watch the skill and technique of the kitchen. Downstairs bar for drinks ahead of the tasting menu is a great way to start an evening.

So hard to highlight perfectly everything that made our Saturday lunch at Crockers so epic.
The food is beyond amazing - but you can tell that from all the other reviews and pictures, right? Tasty, beautiful, fresh and you can just see and feel how much thought, time, effort and care goes into crafting some truly memorable dishes. Just when you think the food cant get any better, you then take a sip of the recommended wine they pair with it and wow, wow, wow.
There is a lovely, calm ambience both downstairs in the bar and in the restaurant. You are made to feel like welcome and wanted guests. Our group had the Chef's Table to ourselves so our lunch was also accompanied by a lot of loud and raucous laughter, which was positively encouraged and enhanced with the very entertaining chat of Luke, Scott and Ian.
The cost of the meal and drinks (with wine pairing) is great value for money. It's certainly not as steep as most fine dining restaurants, yet the food is as good as any I've ever been to, combine that with the overall experience and it is way better in my opinion. It's not cheap but it's so special, it's fine dining, it's unique and I cannot wait to go again. Luke, Scott, Ian and Jess I can't thank you enough. We came, we saw, we ate, we drank and we laughed. A lot.

This dining experience is second to none. The dishes are carefully selected and prepared to cater for all tastes and Scott and Luke are flexible for any dietary requirements.
The presentation and flavours of each dish was amazing and the whole experience from the start to the finish was exceptional.
It is such a pleasure to watch the dishes being prepared at close range, being able to discuss any ingredients and share the experience with other diners who become great friends by the end of the evening.
Thoroughly recommend this jewel of a restaurant. It equals or even excels any Michelin star restaurant we have been to.

Absolutely fantastic food - haven't had a better meal out in years, if ever! Luke and Scott were wonderful hosts and the food was amazing. We went for my wife's birthday and it was a very special evening. The onion starter was delicious, then the duck main was on another level... And the desserts! Interpresed we're lovely little touches like appetisers and palate cleansers - each delicacies in their own right. Cannot recommend highly enough. We will be back and hopefully bringing friends with us to share such a brilliant experience. Thank you so much for a lovely evening!

Can't recommend a visit to Crockers Chef's Table enough! The whole experience from when you arrive is divine! Gorgeous food prepared in front of you by Scott paired with wines by Luke which were exquisite! Book in advance as no evening booking available now this year which is understandable after experiencing today! Such a good find!!! �

Surprising start, in that you could easily drive past the location or think you had booked this by mistake.
This is a gem and I would recommend to all - go try it. Food was superb, we have an excellent cook in our party who is often left disappointed with the eating out experience, she was actually heard to say "WOW" at one point. This is her very highest rating for any establishment and should be more coveted than a Michelin star !!
Luke and Scott just put on a fantastic evening, in addition the people that dined with us made it an all round, excellent night. Thank you.
Go eat here you will not be disappointed. We all loved it.
