Great quality food for a good price. Everything we ordered was lovely and delivery was on time which is great considering everything that is going on. The only problem was the prawn dim sum which were clearly out a cheap frozen packet which I didn't expect when paying £3.50 and only got 4 tiny pieces. Everything else though was perfect as can tell by how fresh and vibrant everything looked and tasted. Favourite Chinese in town.

Best Chinese restaurant in Ayrshire. Fantastic food and superb, friendly, efficient staff. Nothing is too much trouble for the owner - Johnnie either. The place is spotless and a pleasure to socialise in. My fav go to place!

My wife and I recently went to the Jade Dragon at lunch time on a Saturday. It was brilliant and by far the best Chinese restaurant in Ayrshire. The owner was very accommodating with us being vegetarians. Good food and great value.

Good portions of tasty food. The environment is clean and tidy. Toilets spotless. Johnnie was always attentive at school and still has that attitude toward his customers. Mr Gray has done a good job. Be back for more nosh soon.

Always good food with friendly staff. Make sure you order a takeaway with plenty of time at the weekend as this is the busiest in the area and you can end up waiting 45mins.

Troon town centre should be able to support 3 or 4 decent restaurants, however in town many have tried and failed including Costley & Costley’s Apple Inn and the former Togs café that was converted to a stylish Italian Restaurant which didn’t last any time at all. That brings me nicely to the Jade Dragon which now occupies this site. I had heard good reports about the Jade however my visit didn’t pan out the way I would have liked in fact it was a bit of a disaster. The welcome was fine and we were shown to a table that immediately started alarm bells ringing when I clocked the place settings and the décor. The original design when it was converted from the famous “Tog’s Café” to an Italian was quite tasteful however this had been changed by painting the main restaurant walls a “jade” colour whilst everything else was left the same apart from the addition of some 1960’s Chinese cheap and nasty memorabilia and a fish tank full of baggie minnie’s….well that’s how it looked from a distanc
