Nice place. food was very good. the staff came across as polite and helpfull. if your not sure where to eat when in Trowbridge, then i suggest the Kings Arms...

This is a proper pub serving proper food without the nonsense. If you want a good pint of bear, a great cider, decent glass of wine with your home cooked tasty food then go here. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere calm and friendly.
If you want tweazer food, expensive tasteless drinks and snotty staff then thus isn't the place for you!

First visit in a long time. Change of plans meant I arrive at 13:40 and meals were still being served. Had a pint of cider and pork belly for lunch. Quick, friendly service and good food. Would recommend.

Super friendly locals; we came in for lunch but unfortunately they don’t serve food on Sundays. One of the patrons kindly gave us advice on where would be good (and not good) for Sunday lunch!

Brilliant! Excellent meals, drinks, service and setting for 4 of us, aged 9 to 97, yesterday evening before a school concert.

Friendly and efficient service. Had a tasty fish pie with broccoli and carrots that were cooked properly (hate overdone veg), and the portion size was very generous and I struggled to finish. Well worth the money.
