Visiting truro for the night before work at the hospital the next day. Was ok to spend the evening there. Good quick service and really cheap prices, even for a spoons. Was pouring down outside so didn't fancy a tour of the town, stayed here all night instead. Would come back if in truro

Well...I've come down to Truro from Plymouth for the day to do a coastal path walk. But first....let's have some breakfast!! Great welcome from the lady who opened up. It was quiet. It's spacious....very. Prompt with the brekky and coffee...all good. Nice feel about the place....its a Wetherspoons!!

I think the average reviews does it good justice. The food is good, what you expect from what is basically a lavish greasy spoon café. Burgers are good and the customer service people are nice 👍 lovely atmosphere in there as well when it's busy (which is most of the time). Recommended to go upstairs. Great place 😁

Well,what is there to say about Wetherspoons that hasn't already been said? Good drinks at the best prices,good food at the best prices and service to match. Always busy and bustling.
Only moan from my perspective is that well behaved dogs aren't allowed - either inside or out.

Usually busy with a lively atmosphere. Friendly staff and children friendly. Tables and cutlery could be a little cleaner but overall a good experience

As good as any other wetherspoons, although I would not reccomend going on nights when a football match is on. The place can get packed and the atmosphere becomes rowdy.

I had the mixed grill, and it was hard to tell which meat was which. They all tasted the same, and the char on it was thick, way too much char. Obviously, they need to clean their grills more often, you can taste its old char.

Nice clean and ideally located when visiting the city and cathedral which is free also being next door to primarks makes it heaven for the discerning punter

We popped in for lunch and busy as always!
But we were able to find a seat and order straight away. I ordered the chicken salad, and my partner ordered the chicken melt
Which was actually hunters chicken by a different name!!
My salad arrived within 5 minutes of ordering (salad with hot chicken pieces). My partners meal arrived a few minutes later
It would have been nice to receive the meals together, as he was pinching my chicken while he was waiting!
His meal wasn't piping hot when it arrived, but it was acceptable. The chips were delicious
Both were good-sized portions, and the waiting staff were pleasant. Tables were cleaned promptly when vacated
It is noisy in the pub, not from loud music. But purely the volume of people in there chatting and trying to be heard over everyone else
We've never had a bad meal on any of wetherspoon pubs, and we've tried them from Cornwall to Stirling!
We especially love their steaks, and again, we have never had a bad meal
Reasonably priced, it is what it is. If you want a romantic setting, choose a booth and don't go at busy times!
I do believe you could reverse tables. It is best to check with the individual pubs in their policy
Great for small groups, families, large groups, or eating solo
The coffee is pleasant, with lots of refills if you wish

Food always arrives quickly and hot, table service with the app makes life so easy, especially when you are with children. Always busy so be there 11ish to ensure a table for lunch. Coffees and teas are free to refill as many times as you want. Good value for money

Visited for the first time last week during a busy lunchtime. Really impressed with staff, speed of service and the food! However, we were shocked that the doors in the entrance seemed to have a fault, and we witnessed several near-miss accidents involving elderly people getting stuck, and pushchairs with toddlers in getting wedged in the door. Really hope this is resolved before someone gets seriously hurt.
