Mai Thai

Arrived at 1715 on a Wednesday to get a takeaway, couldn't park outside road was full, found a parking space 5 mins away walked to the restaurant and it was closed. Did come back another day when you were open and got a great takeaway and managed to park right outside, I know now google are a pain if you try to change the opening times.

Tried to go on a Thursday night, unfortunately didn’t book a table and was advise the wait for food would be long, we decided to skip . Went back on the Friday with a booked table, had the Thai sticky pork balls and the pad gra prao(extra spicy) and some beers, service was good, didn’t wait long for our food, had a good conversation with the owner and really enjoyed the experience, will recommend.

An amazing little find in Truro. We were welcomed by John and Michelle in such a lovely atmosphere. They were super chatty with us, which begs to question where the other reviews come from. We were laughing and sharing stories about travelling the entire meal. The food was incredibly reasonably priced and came out piping hot, and fresh. The Pad Thai was probably one of the best I’ve eaten. We also got the mango sticky rice, which was lovely. All that for barely £20pp, which was a steal. John and Michelle are an amazing couple who really care about this place, and you can tell. All their tips go to an animal charity, which makes the place even nicer. Definitely make it a visit for dinner if you’re around Truro!

Small and cosy Thai restaurant. Quirky decor. Good mixed starter of Thai fish cakes, spring rolls and satay chicken. All very good. My main was Pad Thai noodles. Really good and a generous portion. My wife had the chicken masaman curry also excellent. Overall a good meal, a bit pricey maybe but times are hard!

Came on a recomendation from a friend who recently visitited for their birthday and wasnt disappointed 😃 enjoyed ourselves here! Could tell the food was fresh and cooked to order unlike many places you go these days. The portion size is generous, the atmosphere is amazing, very relaxing easy going feel to the place. The decor takes me back on my travels to Asia. Good value for money with a good choice of foods. One of our group (10 of us) was vegan, she didnt feel left out at all and accommodated her well, with substitutes on hand to switch up dishes, nice touch guys! 👍 Oh my god, try the mai Tai cocktail its delicious! Only down side was staffing levels but that's the same everywhere these days so can't really fault them for that, they do have signs up like many do asking for staff to apply. Will 100% return very soon

Party of 6 which included 2 vegans and 1 vegetarian and everyone had a brilliant meal! We pre-booked as we are a large party and were the only ones in the restaurant! So we had the lovely big sharing table. The staff were friendly and helpful with the menu. The food was brilliant! I especially loved the vegan corn ribs and golden tofu starters! Would recommend and would go back if ever in the area again.
