An absolutely incredible little find. Me and my partner popped down with my mum and our 3 dogs after a stroll one evening in the week. The waiting staff we really friendly and knowledgeable about the menu - they answered all our questions when trying to decide what to pick on the menu and it did not disappoint. Cooked beautifully and generous-sized portions. A real gem hiding in the middle of Truro, if you love seafood this is the place for you! We will be back.

This unassuming little family-run place is big on quality and doesn't stint on quantity. We have eaten here on several occasions and often come with friends. It never fails deliver the most delicious, freshest seafood you can find in Truro. The fresh anchovies make a wonderful starter as do the giant prawns. But what keeps pulling us back is the magnificent Cornish Boil with lobsters, prawns, mussels, clams, and whatever white fish is in season. A massive bowl of seafood goodness, made to be shared. Restaurant quality food cooked and served from a container on Lemon Quay, dining is outdoors.

We popped in yesterday lunch time after reading a review from Lee on Cornwall Live and we were not disappointed. Met with a friendly smile and shown to a table. Good choice of dishes of which we sampled 4 of the tapas and chips. The food was beautifully presented and so full of flavours. Best croquettes I ever had. Very friendly staff who guided my wife around the pineapple gin!! Would recommend to anyone looking for a laid back venue, quality food at a reasonable price. Just away from the shopping area with subtle music you could have been anywhere.

Great little seafood restaurant just off Lemon Quay in Truro. Been meaning to try for a while now and it was worth the wait. The wife had the seafood loaded fries which was a huge plate of fries covered in crab meat and a lobster cheese sauce with a little chilli just to give it a bit of a kick. I tried the fish and chips (boring I know) which was also a great big portion. Lovely fish and a good crisp batter with skin on chips and peas. Couldn't manage dessert after all that. Add a couple of drinks and it came to about £40 which was very reasonable. Certainly will be coming back

Finally what truro needed, fantastic seafood superbly cooked in a lovely location by experts. Great selection of seafood tapas and drinks. We had the seafood broil which was incredible and also the loaded crab fries which i cannot stop thinking about, its close to a car park too so not far to waddle . Highly recommend

Best tapas I've had in years, an that's a statement considering I was in Barcelona just a few months ago.....serrano croquettes w/ aioli, salt n pepper squid w/ caramel sweet chilli an pickled vegetables...truly tantalising the tastebuds!! I'd have tried everything else on the menu if I had more time.Not forgetting the super smiley server's and excellent service, all round brilliance. Highly recommended!!

You can takeaway but we ate in. We loved our food and the service was friendly and efficient. We had the salt and pepper squid which was perfectly tender and well seasoned. The katsu loaded fries were good too - delicious fish. The vibe is definitely relaxed street food and it's right in the centre of Truro. We'll definitely be back.

Martin and Charlotte catered my birthday on the 27th December, which is always difficult as it is so close to Christmas. It was a pleasure to invite them into our home to cook for myself and friends. The menu's that we chose from the suggestions that Martin had made, suited us to a tee and the food was wonderful and well presented. The way Martin develops the combination of flavours worked well through out the courses and Charlotte dressed the table and served us in her friendly and professional manner. If one high light of the meal had to be picked, it would be the succulent rib eye steaks that were cooked to perfection and the incredible chips that had been cooked in duck fat for the meat eaters. As the vegetarian of party, my meal was so delicious. Martin also provided a meal for one of the guests that was gluten and lactose intolerant and she said her meal was one of the best she had tasted. This is the fourth time that Martin and Charlotte have catered for our various birthday parties and we have never been disappointed. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will definitely be hiring them again.

Martin & Elle were amazing! I arranged to have a 3 course meal with my husband during our holiday to Cornwall. As parents of two we were hoping to have a lovely meal at our cottage while the littles ones slept! Every course we ate was amazing. Both Martin and Elle were so friendly and it was like being in a restaurant at home. I highly recommend Davies Catering and we will be back for more :) Satti & Alan

Martin developed an absolutely sublime menu for our Wedding breakfast. Our guests commented that it was the best food they had ever had at a Wedding. In addition, Martin's ideas were so creative and far more original than your standard mass catering food. The vegetarian guests were equally complimentary of the thought that had gone into their meal option. We look forward to Martin preparing a meal for us in the future!
