Wonderful country pub on Hartlake Road, Tudley. Previous visit a few years ago. A few changes around the garden area. Beautiful setting, big garden / patio area.
Some inside tables did seem a little close to one another. We were on table 5 & directly behind my back was another round table & someone sat literally should to shoulder (I did eventually rearrange my seat for more room)
One of our starters was not fully cooked (cold in middle 😕) this was quickly rectified & replaced with another- don't be afraid to complain if ever something is not right. Great overall. Would recommend for something a little different menu wise.
We absolutely loved it here. The views were amazing, the decor was brilliant, and there were ample seating areas, especially outside. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. It had a great family vibe to it and welcomed dogs to the outside area.
I would definitely recommend it here.
The Poacher & Partridge is home to an open-plan restaurant, bar, terrace and garden area, with uninhabited views across open farmlands.
Great local pub restaurant. Nice enough that it feels like a treat, but affordable enough that it's not bank busting. The menu has something for everyone, and it's all good quality. Good vegan options. Nice outside space when weather is permitting.
Had a lookely lunch in the beer garden but was disappointed when I asked for a bitter shandy and was advised the cellar was too warm so the bitter was off also advised there was no lamb kofta. Less than 15 minutes later, another customer came out with a pint of bitter, shortly followed with a waiter bringing out kofta for another customer.
Very nice country pub. Great food and good atmosphere.
Absolutely amazing place! We had some lovely meal there and have never been disappointed. Outdoor area during summer is wonderful. Very relaxing atmosphere and food is superb. Lovely little play area to keep the kids busy too. Highly recommend!
We got married abroad, but decided to hold a celebration with family and friends in the UK as well. We couldn't have picked a better venue than this. The events team were great in helping us plan our day, and then Oscar and his team went above and beyond to make sure all of our guests had an incredible time. Add in wonderful food, and some luck with the weather to enjoy the garden after our lunch, and we simply couldn't fault the experience we had. 5* and definitely recommend.

Enjoyed a lovely evening meal for our wedding anniversary at this fabulous venue set in beautiful surroundings. All the staff were extremely friendly and the food was gorgeous. They also kindly let us stay overnight in our motorhome on their car park. Will definitely be coming back here and will be recommending to family and friends.
