Stumbled across this place while on a Sunday stroll recently and were greeted by extremely welcoming staff and customers. We were spoken to like we'd been going there for years, and the beer is very good.
There was even a selection of cheeses and pork pies, etc, to help ourselves to but sadly wed just eaten. First time in my life I'd regretted eating breakfast 😋

A quirky little pub with a real 'bygone days' feel about it. I visited on Christmas Day and it was standing room only. Plenty of real ale to choose from and the landlord took our order and returned drinks and change (and there was change) to our table. A nice way to spend an hour.
