Great pub, friendly waitresses Ellie & Grace were very attentive, very good food. Would recommend it to all who are thinking of going there. We also enjoyed our complimentary glass of Prosecco for our anniversary, a really nice touch.

Had a fantastic nights stop over. Food was good and service was friendly. Room was amazing and had so much character . Even had a small fridge which was a plus point. Would definitely visit again. Hopefully for longer next time . Great place thank god for the internet.

Myself and some family went for dinner on Sunday. The staff were friendly and atmosphere pleasant. The food came out within a reasonable time and all of it was hot. There was an issue with a couple of roasts potatoes being bad inside but they quickly rectified this bringing some more to replace them. Will definitely be back for another meal here

Took my husband today as a treat. Beautiful pub. Food amazing, best roast dinner I have ever had. Had the 2 loveliest of servers elle and Parker. Very welcoming and friendly. Elle went above and beyond. Thank you 😊 we will definitely be back.

We went here for Mother's Day brunch, there were four of us. We booked in advance which was very easy to do online. There was plenty on the menu, I was really pleased to see a lot of Vegetarian options, I would love to try the pancakes in the future. We ordered 2 vegetarian breakfast and 2 full English breakfast. We all changed a little bit (no baked beans and swapped it for a potato rosti for example) and this was no problem at all. The waiter read it back to us which was great and a good job as a couple of out orders got mixed up so we appreciated him reading it back to us. The food took around 30-35 minutes to get to us when we first sat down which wasn't too bad as at least it was all done fresh and it arrived hot. Food was nice, everyone enjoyed their meals. We heard the person doing live music (I assume for the 3 course meal for people later) and they sounded really good. It would have been nice to have more of the building opened up as we were in one section with 3 other full tables so it felt a bit squashy. One of the drinks arrived which were wrong, we asked for coke no ice but got given diet coke with ice however this was quickly fixed. The toilets were really nice and clean, with some beautiful smelling flowers in there. Think a bit of paint works needs to happen inside especially one section where we were sat however it's a lovely building inside and out. Would visit again!

Had a lovely hour or two here with some friends. I got the squid and the Korean chicken strips (both as starters). Good size portions and with the price. All well cooked and delicious looking forward to going back when I'm next in the area.

Lovely 15th Century hotel and pub/restaurant. Dinner was good, food slightly on the pricey side. Breakfast was amazing, awesome fry up and pastries too. Rooms were ok, not 5 star but reasonable. Staff were pleasant. Nice surroundings and building as the pub is approx 600 years old with old photos on the wall. Def worth a visit for a sip of the ole nectar or feed up.

Great ales and food. The Korean chicken main dish was good, especially the kimchi served with it. Would recommend dining and stay.

This is a lovely place to stay and a really nice location. We had a huge room with a big bath. Food is great, staff are wonderful. Tutbury itself is a lovely little village.
