Salt Flakes London Restaurant

What a great restaurant with great people and fantastic food. We couldn't escape the house so I took some dishes over and asked them to make a meal we could enjoy at home. They understood and totally delivered. I enjoyed a drink while waiting and the wife and I had an awesome steak meal when I delivered it home. They even threw in a free bottle of wine to welcome us. We will be going back very soon :)

Really well designed place, and the staff know what they are talking about when it comes to wine and cocktails. The menu is shorter than many places, but thats a good thing. The items they have are superb because of it. They also have stock of 'A' rated fine wines too. All around, its somewhere to enjoy a date or impress someone important. At the time of writing, they have a fixed price menu choice during week days. Prices were seriously low for what you get.

Great birthday supper at Salt Flakes Jazz night. Service was excellent and the food was very enjoyable. 3 courses with a choice from a set menu for a set price. We were delighted with a complementary glass of fizz- maybe because it was my birthday. Each dish was beautifully presented and we were made to feel special guests even though the restaurant was busy . I will definitely come again

Excellent Food But Alcohol is Very Over-Priced. Went to Salt Flakes with friends for our monthly dinner, 5 of us. Loved the food. Everything was perfectly cooked, beautifully presented By very polite staff. So 5 Stars to the food. Everyone was drinking except for me and when they ordered Whiskey right in the end they didn't know how much it'll be costing. Bill came and to everyone's shock it was prices Well over any bar in Mayfair. Needless to say no-one was amused at that. I'd recommend the restaurant for food but if you're drinking be very careful in what you order and check prices before you do.
