Great old pub on the banks of the River Avon.
The idea was a river walk and a late Sunday lunch. Unfortunately the weather had been awful, the towpath was flooded and dusk was fast approaching.
Thankfully the pub was warm and welcoming , lots of space , open fires and great food. Pleasant young staff, everything you want from a country pub.
Stopped off for lunch here today. Served by Anthony and Meggy. The food was freshly prepared and cooked to perfection. On departure I met the self effacing chef that turned out our excellent meals. What a team! We’ll be going back! It’s just 10 minutes drive off the M5 so perfect if you’re on the road. Great riverside location too. It’s a great result when you go to a place and it turns out to be as good as you expected.
The team at The Fleet were amazing and went above and beyond for my mum’s 80th birthday celebrations. We were given a private room (the Boathouse) with lovely views over the river. Food was fantastic. Highly recommended.

We stayed two nights and had a really nice time. The room was quiet and had a wonderful view! The food was excellent. And we are especially thankful to Ant, who stayed extra late to check us in after our train was cancelled. Highly recommend for a relaxing break.
We met another couple for lunch and we were very glad we chose the Fleet. The other couple was late, but this did not cause a problem with staff, who were very helpful. The food was excellent and we enjoyed the meal. We'll be back!
Met our son and daughter in law for lunch before they returned to Leicester. Even though we arrived very near to the lunchtime kitchen closing, the staff waited for us to choose from the menu, with no pressure. After a short time, our Gammon, egg & pineapple, chips, and home made piccalilli arrived. It was thoroughly delicious. We will definitely be visiting again.
We stopped here as it was half way our kayaking trip. Right by the side of the river, beautiful scenery. You can tell they focus on the food - we had chicken burgers and pizzas. Fresh and delicious. Very happy with service as well, staff is kind and helpful. Definitely recommend :)

Me and my husband had a quick overnight break for 1 night here. The atmosphere was very friendly and the evening meal was fantastic the food and service was very nice indeed. Our room was exceptional and the breakfast was more than filling. From arriving to leaving we were made to feel very welcome, although this is a popular place we never seemed to wait long for food or drinks. The staff here are a credit to the place well done guys your all fab. The naturally red haired lady who showed us our room was soooo friendly and such a hard worker special thanks to you(sorry didn't get your name).
We will definitely be returning in the future thanks for a fab stay....5 star review isn't enough but all I could do on Google.
We were very impressed that everything was being dealt with by just one member of staff. She was serving at the bar, taking food orders, clearing table and welcoming hotel guests all on her own. She even made my fruit crumble!
