Quality Food, Food was lovely and hot, presented well on the plate, served by a lovely team and washed down with a piping freshly ground coffee. This is the place to go if you live locally, I actually commuted from Bolton, but knew beforehand just how good it is. I have being going for 5 years or more, not added a review till now. This place is highly recommended by myself, one place I will always revisit. Even though they can be busy, the speed of service doesn't suffer too much, 5 to 10 minutes tops for a fresh breakfast isn't bad at all.

In an attempt to be an unbiased reviewer, i thought i'd wait before reviewing this Cafe until I had the chance to visit the one over the road that everyone seems to rave about. First visit was a fortnight ago. My Son and I both like a decent breakfast every now, so searched the area for a cafe to visit. I read the first review on this cafe about Gandhi's flip-flop bacon and showed it to my son. His initial reaction was similar to mine. We simply had to see, and taste this bacon, to believe anybody could describe it as such. Pair of daredevils. To be honest, i didn't expect the place to be as bad as the reviewer said, and i was right. It is a lovely cafe, with friendly staff and reasonable prices. Everything cooked to perfection and brought to the table HOT and with a smile, despite being very busy. The sausages..... TBC Moving forward to Saturday just gone and it is Elliots turn to feed us. Off we travel again and park up. After a short wander in the pouring rain we arrived and didn't even make it to the counter. The sausages.... You see, anybody can cook a breakfast. It's the ingredients you use that make the difference. One of the most important parts of a breakfast, in our opinion, is the sausages. They simply have to have something, ANYTHING, about them that makes them different from a standard chippy "Saveloy" just chucked in a pan of fat and served. No taste sensation with a saveloy... in fact no taste at all. It doesn't compliment anything else on the plate and so should be saved for covering in gravy or curry and NOT with a breakfast. The plates we saw were, disappointingly, sporting the saveloy sausage that deserves no place on a breakfast plate, and swimming in a little lake of the fat they had come out of, with that lovely crispy brown edge to the ends to boot. We simply left and headed to The four corners where, based on a simple glance at Elliots plates, it's clear to see, in our opinion, that they care about the ingredients they choose to serve to their customers, far more than Elliots. On Saturday, very much the same as the fortnight previously, except the staff were all different due to the holiday period. (A sign was there to advise customers of increased waiting times due to such). This is once again another indication that the Four Corners values it's customers enough to manage their expectations to avoid any disappointment. Yes, we waited slightly longer than the fortnight earlier, but once again the breakfast was first class. We had the biggest breakfast they do on both occasions and they could have simply put the plates back in the cupboard we cleaned them so efficiently. We will certainly visit again, and again.

Lovely food...offers things like smoked salmon and spinach which is slightly more fancy than other cafe food. Lovely herby sausages too.
