This is a really lovely place to eat. The food is always excellent, the service and the atmosphere are excellent too. I love the carvery and try to always visit when in the region.

My friend and I were there last week she had fish and chips and I had the carvery both meals were absolutely delicious and the gravy on the carvery was thick and very tasty the staff were very friendly will definitely call in again and value for money

Went in for the first time on a Friday afternoon. Place is lovely and clean and staff really friendly. We had a carvery and all three meats where delicious. The view of the prior and the sea is lovely. We will definitely be back again. We'll done guys

Had a lovely meal with my friend on Monday. Lovely clean pub, attentive and caring staff, a credit to the business! We were welcomed. There were no free chairs and tables outside so the staff (think was manager) got some out for us. My friend was Vegetarian, so veggie gravy and sausages were made for her. Great value for money, delicious pub food. Had a lovely tumbler of wine overlooking the beach with our food. A blond lady and brunette lady served us. They were brilliant 🥰👍👍

Portions are generous. Gravy is delicious. Reasonable prices. Beautiful views if you sit on the bay side of the restaurant.
The Sunday menu is well worth the try for a very large plate of food for under £12. They also do a take away carvery plate, which worked well for us.
Beautiful town. I will be back next time I'm in the area.

Lovely place with outdoor seating with view of the sea. Coffee was delicious and chips well cooked and plenty of them. Our friends had the fish and chips and it was huge and came with tartare sauce and mushy peas. Service was quick and friendly

First time here and we will 100% be back. The carvery was hot fresh and well presented. The meat was cooked perfect and each one had its own flavour with fresh veg and a lovely gravy. The two ladies in the dining room were really friendly, it’s nice to see experience staff who are naturally confident and genuinely care. The young carvery chef was bright cheery and happy. We left a tip and will recommend to our family and friends. Thanks for a great lunch !

I remember this hs always been one of the the best places for a Sunday roast, but since going vegan I wasn't sure they would cater, the menu doesn't say. However I called ahead and they confirmed they could, we went in and it was fabulous. Definitely they besr Sunday roast and reasonably priced too. It wasn't as busy as usual but that might be as there was a good festival going on.
