This is a lovely little place that's tucked away at the back of an old church. We loved the cheese and meat platter. I in particular really enjoyed the the charcoal cheese and the blue cheese that was recommended.

What a hidden gem! Waiting for our shuttle back to our cruise ship. My husband loves Italian pasta and happened to see this restaurant. Fabulous, classic Italian food. Right by the train station! Loved every bite! Highly recommend!!

Fantastic evening here in the resteraunt, it is in part of a converted church. However inside you would never realise. The staff were unbelievably welcoming and friendly, the prices show $$ on Google maps but I found them very reasonable, the portions were huge for the cost and very tasty! The vegetables were cooked perfectly. I will definitely be back 😊😊😊

I loved how fresh and large the seafood is. This is the only resutrant I visited in this town, and I am so glad I stopped by because the taste of the fettucine was the closest to original Italian food that I have ever had in the UK.

At first wasn't sure what to make of an Italian restaurant in the basement of an old church in an English seaside town, but wasn't disappointed. Staff were friendly, fast and efficient, food was great! A word of advice to Americans and those who like their food spicy - the Brits don't get as spicy as we do. Had a pizza called the "Inferno" which included Scotch Bonnet peppers and while it was very good and flavorful (and the crust was awesome), I didn't consider it to be particularly spicy.

Brilliant food, friendly staff, love Davanti. It's the best Italian restaurant I've eaten in. It has a varied menu from pizza and pasta to chicken fish and steak. Vegetarians are catered for too.

Had a great night with friends. Food was absolutely fabulous. Only niggle was they don't have Sambuca alcohol. Mmmm me thinks they were lying. Offered free drink of limoncello or amareto which I dont care for. I have not been to an Italian restaurant that doe not have Sambuca. Please ask for this next time you go.
