Got a voucher for a presecco afternoon tea. Absolutely fantastic, the food was outstanding. Wasn't able to all the cakes was given a box to take the rest of them home. The staff were so friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Nothing was a bother. Have a good selection of cocktails. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend this place.
Came for brunch on a sunny day in tynemouth, sat outside under the shade and ordered a full English and eggs Royale with a oat latte and a tea for one (which squeezes out 3 full brews). Came to 24 quid. Food was lovely. Staff were brilliant even though it was really busy and there was only 2 of them. Georgia and her colleague managed well. Lovely spot to watch the world go by with some nice food. Also the toilets were very clean and interior is nice too.
Nice enough bar, table clearing is a bit slow. The place wasn't busy and walked past the comfy seats and the table was covered in plates and glasses. I went to the bar, ordered and took time getting sorted. Walked back and the table was still in serviced. I cleared it myself.
Staff are friendly and the place is well maintained nice place to drop into if your in the area.
First time here today with my wife for afternoon tea with prosecco using a voucher given to me by my daughter for my birthday. It was so nice and possibly the best afternoon tea we've had. The young lady who looked after us was really lovely and a real credit to the place, overall was a great experience and can highly recommend.
Has been well refurbished, haven't tried the meals but its a Fitzgeralds pubs so there normally pretty good, depending on the menu and what you like. 15-09-22. New owners since we where last in, there has been some changes inside, decor etc but basically the same pub and still popular. Some outdoor seating and dog friendly.
Fish and chips were amazing and the gluten free you can't tell the difference

Amazing place to chill and having drinks they make unbelievable cocktails I hardly recommend it
Nice place to eat and drink. Sometimes they have live music on which is nice. Bit pricey though for drinks
