Had a amazing meal last night, I’m not a big fan of Indian food and when I looked at the menu and didn’t see the dish I liked I thought I wouldn’t be able to eat anything, but how wrong was I. The waiter asked what I would like and said no problem the chef will make it. I have to say it was probably the best food I’ve had from an Indian restaurant and all the others members of our party also agreed. The food is very fresh and the staff are friendly. Thank you so much for an amazing evening we’ll definitely be back again.
Amazing food and atmosphere, in a pretty exclusive setting! Do not underestimate Amira's Kitchen from its unassuming exterior - inside, with a big group of friends, we had an amazing meal with great service on a Saturday night. Lauren and the serving staff were extremely attentive, ensuring that all dishes were explained and - where appropriate - to the individual tastes of all in our party. Food was fresh and delicious, across the starters, mains, sides, and nibbles. The 5* rating is because there was nothing at fault, and we all had a fantastic evening. Highly recommend this place!
Highly recommend. One of, if not the best curry I have had. The lime pickle with the poppadoms was sublime and the sag aloo equally as good. I had the lamb shank which fell off the bone and my wife had a biryani, which wasn't on the menu, but they made specially. Top marks for taste and service.
What a lovely find in Uckfield. If you're looking for a quality pleasant Indian restaurant, then ths is the venue for you! Food was amazing and very reasonably priced. 2 courses for 7 people came to just under £150. Service was five stars. And the surroundings whilst small were pleased and we didn't feel too crowded or close to other diners. Drinks were reasonable too. My pint of coke was £3.25 . Will definitely be visiting again. Exceptionally happy with the party booking we had this evening and the way staff were able to accommodate us.
A lovely intimate restaurant the staff were very efficient acknowledging us and letting us know the specials. The food was excellent as was the service

Food was amazing. Service was great, food was cooked quickly and efficiently. The owner was very friendly. All round great staff great restaurant
Wednesday evening, surprisingly busy as well for about 7pm. We had a dansak, and South Indian Chilli chicken with a naan bread, chapati, pilau rice, lemon rice and onion bhaji. Good size portions and SIC chicken was great. Dansak I thought wasn't so good, a bit peppery and not the sweet and sour flavour I'd expect. The rice and breads were good, but the onion bhajis were large and greasy and not very pleasant. Drinks were a bit pricey as well, but overall cleanliness and service was good. Try it if you're passing by.
What a memorable experience. The food and service was exceptional. We visited for my sons birthday and they made it so special even bought him a cake & card! Highly recommend!
Very good value for money. The food is very good and is served in generous portions.
Great service, great food and very knowledgeable staff. Reasonably priced for what you get. Would go again
The food was amazing. A little spicier than expected, but still lovely. I've never before seen a tofu dish in an Indian restaurant, and it was great with a nice spice warmth together with the garlic and onion flavours. They do quite a number of vegetarian and vegan dishes, of which the tofu dish was one
My partner and I went to Amira's Kitchen for dinner.
When we arrived we were greeted by lots of friendly members of staff and shown to our table. We were offered drinks and these were brought over to us really quickly.
We ordered a murgh zafrani, a chicken tikka masala and a coconut chilli chicken.
The chicken tikka masala was a gorgeous smokey orange colour. The sauce was thick and flavourful and the chicken was soft and melted in your mouth. You could tell it was marinated and tasted flame grilled.
The murgh zafrani was my favourite. It was topped with cheese. The chicken had been marinated in cheese also and has the most amazing flavour! I've never tasted anything like it. Its really a secret gem.
The coconut chilli chicken wasn't too spicy and was very creamy and rich. Again it was very nice.
The pilau rice came topped with fried onions which was a nice garnish.
The naan bread was stunning. Fat, puffy and great for dunking.
The staff were really attentive the entire meal, but you didn't feel like you were being watched. They were so friendly too and seemed really happy when we ate all of our meal and didn't leave anything. Our waiter smiled and went, 'clean plates!' which made me smile too because the food really was delicious.
This was my first time trying Amira's Kitchen and I've already ordered a takeaway from them a few nights after.
Wonderful food. Highly recommended.
