What a find this was,, lovely decor very friendly staff and the food was the bestcwe had on our holiday in the lakes, venison steak cooked perfectly, just melted in the mouth. The pub is in the middle of nowhere but is definitely worth the visit. Will be definitely going back.

From the moment we walked in without a booking we were impressed. The staff were friendly and quickly came to serve us.
We opted for the special menu and it certainly didn't disappoint, washed down with a pint of local ale this was a very reccomendale lunch stop.

3 night stay at Oxen Park. Ate here 2 of those nights. Both visits were exceptional. Food was as described, well presented, great portions and delicious. Good value too. Service was friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend. Thank you. Paul and Sam.
