First time we've visited since the renovation, went for the early bird which is 5-6 and £6 each , good choice from the EB menu which included a small selection of drinks , food was lovely and ambience of the restaurant is welcoming and comfortable, staff are young but friendly and professional without being to "pally" , we decided to have dessert also from EB menu , for 6 people having 2 courses with drinks the bill came to £82 so brilliant value , we'll definitely return at some point �
Well betullas of ulverston u excelled last night!!! We went for hubbys birthday, breaded Camembert for starter to share which was lovely, served with sliced crusty bread, cranberry relish & side salad beautifully presented. I had pre ordered the seafood platter & it didn’t disappoint! It was amazing,
Iv only ever had as good abroad. A bottle of house wine was included & we settled for rose which was once again v nice! No room for puds I’m afraid but wil defo b returning & would highly recommend to any other shellfish foody. Staff were also a credit, very friendly, polite & attentive! Well done all round 10/10
Great food. Best lasagna I’ve ever had, I’m a regular foodie. Constantly trying new places and quite simply this was the best lasagna I’ve had. Filled to the brim, came piping hot, loads of cheese, loads of mince and absolutely loads of flavour. Came with 4 slices of lovely garlicky garlic bread too. Proper, fresh, hot, soft pizza dough,m and not that frozen baguette rubbish you often get. Boyfriend had GF ham and pineapple pizza (well bacon and pineapple). That came on a sourdough base and again it’s one of the best pizzas I’ve seen. Normally GF are soggy and don’t have much filling but this came packed and was delicious so I was told! Nice accessible pay and display car park round the corner too.
Only negative is please sort your menu out. The layout is just a mess! Good range of food and starters though.
A thoroughly enjoyable and delicious experience 😋 Dining alone can sometimes feel like your at McDonald’s with restaurants wanting to get you in and out as quick as possible so they can get more bums on seats, not at Betulla’s I was served promptly on arrival but then given the extra time needed between courses and not rushed. I had the arancini starter and the walnut and spinach tagliatelle for my main which were both delicious with good portion size. As a side I had the rosemary and seasalt garlic bread. I was unable to finish it all and the waitress kindly packaged up the remainder for me to take away. I can highly recommend Bettulla’s both the food and excellent service I received and look forward to being in the area next time so I can visit again. Thank you 😊 🇮🇹🍝
We visited Betulla's for dinner on 14/08/21. We were welcomed with a beautiful homely atmosphere the moment we stepped in the door. The restaurant is very very clean with modern décor. The food was absolutely amazing, It was very fresh and Could definitely tell it was homemade. I personally had the Pizza Polpette with loaded fries and it was superb. What a pure pleasure of a dining experience, The staff were very friendly and accommodating. This is a must if your in the Ulverston area. 10 Stars!
Booked at late notice and ended up in the basement. Seats (benches) are uncomfortable and it has a really grotty in appearance. I was prepared to walk out.
Glad I stayed however as the food was out of this world!
Doughballs and Halloumi for starters and Bolognese for main course. One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to. Staff were attentive and friendly. Highly recommended, just make sure you're not seated in the basement.
Betullas you excelled once again! We were a last minute booking and last in the restaurant and you still asked if we would like desert! Beautiful food as usual and the crispy garlic bread in the side of the lasagne was a lovely touch! Great staff!! Thank you for a special meal!
Absolutely loved the Al forno and the cheesy garlic bread was to die for, the young staff were very professional and attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant ❤️x

Ordered a kids pepperoni pizza and a 14" Pizza Parma. Absolutely delicious! Arrived 10 minutes earlier than expected too!
Absolutely fabulous meal in lovely surroundings. The mushroom starter was delicious, and the main course of penne with spicy chicken and peppers in a cream sauce was exceptional. We were served very efficiently and courteously by Haydn. Prices were good too. £15 for a bottle of merlot is very reasonable. Our first visit, but we'll be back soon. Highly recommended.
Stumbled upon this excellent restaurant when staying in nearby Newby Bridge. Classic Italian food cooked to a great standard in a lovely setting. Prawns were fantastic as was the carbonara and calzone. Finished off with a great cheesecake!
Staff friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.
