Fantastic pub and accommodation I stayed in a beautiful cottage with everything I needed the manager Steve was amazing the Sunday roast was the best thank you I'll be back

Steve looked after me I had a fantastic cottage for three days and Sunday the famous roast dinner did not dissapoint so nice I will stay again thank you the pub was great and fun thank you Steve you legend

What a great local pub, an absolute gem. Steve was serving, great hospitality and a friendly crowd in for the Wolrd Cup 🏉

Friendly, family orientated pub. Basic fare, burgers, curry, fish and chips.
Free pool and darts. Very friendly landlord.
Provided a kids size pool cue so we could have a (very bad and slow) game of pool. Apologies if you were waiting for the table!

Popped in for a drink after a day at the beach, ended up staying for Sunday dinner which was amazing. Very large portions and all locally sourced, ended up staying until the early hours. Landlord was very friendly and told us about the history of the pub which was a nice touch, would definitely go again

Went for a Sunday roast on Easter Sunday. Train stops right next to the pub, staff were efficient and friendly. Food was amazing and great value, nice quirky place with Christmas decorations up all year round. Will definitely go back again.

Very pleasant pub with nice atmosphere and staff.
We were given a complimentary bowl of roast spuds which was nice to nibble on while we had our drinks
