Louise gave us spectacular service & even Zoe the manager came out from kitchen cover & had a chat. Obviously Monday is not the busiest of times, but Louise & Zoe made us feel extremely welcome.

Busy. Waitress appeared rushed of her feet. Items on menu not available, i.e., no gammon for mains, no rasberry lemonade posset for dessert. Had to go to bar to order drinks. Staff were friendly and I enjoyed my food. I had the Sea Bass. Place lacks atmosphere and it was cold.

Can't fault this lovely place, didn't eat this time but have never had a bad meal there. It can be very busy at times, but our last visit was more sedate and a joy. Summer evenings in pleasant surroundings are good for the soul do go an see it for yourself. Plenty of parking.

Came with my friends for quiz night this tuesday, it was great fun. We only had bar snacks but the food was delicious, Our waitress Rachel was kind and helpful. Definitely recommend the quiz night.

Been in the past and haven't been impressed but I have to say I really enjoyed the meal I had on Saturday (2/8/23). Waitress was lovely and helpful.

The whole visit was extremely enjoyable.
A friendly greeting, drinks ordered quickly taken followed by the food orders.
Our waitress was excellent, all of the food dishes ordered was lovely, well cooked, good portions and good value.
Will certainly return and happy to recommend.

Took my Mum there for her birthday meal today, and it was superb. Great service by Sonia, very welcoming, and the food exceeded our expectations, absolutely delicious Sunday roasts. The pub has a really pleasant atmosphere, is very relaxed, making you feel extremely comfortable. As far as Sunday roasts go, this was as good as it gets, well done Thatched House, we will be back 😀 👍

Lovely quaint place for a Sunday lunch.. Nice atmosphere but didn't like seeing a dog sitting on a chair being hand fed. Yuk. Great service and food but portions on the small side. Notwithstanding the above I would more than likely return but ask for more turkey and an extra side of potatoes.
