This is our first time at Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tart! Felt adventurous, so we went for the new salted caramel cheese tart. Taste was not too bad but it was too sweet for us. We liked the crust and the cream cheese filling. Quite a mess to eat because the salted caramel was like flowy lava. For 5.20 it's definitely on the pricier end. I wouldn't say I would have a craving for it. But I can see why it's quite popular.

Since opening their first Brisbane store, the variety of Tarts and Pastries have trebled. My favourite is still the Original Baked Cheese Tart!

Super Terrible Service 21 / 03 / 2022 afternoon around 2 pm. The service staff's attitude was very bad. She threw the food I bought on the table, said rude things to me. This is my first time met a bad- mannered service worker since I came to Australia 5 years. The staff should learn to control her own emotions. I will never go the KURIMU in garden city again.

The cheese filling is very creamy and thick. But I am not a fan of the hard shell. It would be perfect if with flaky pastry shell. Their croissants are so delicious. They are very flaky and not overly sweet.

14 April around 9pm We could see the staff were trying to pack up but there were still tarts in the window and we only wanted one, so we asked the girl counting the register if it was okay to buy. I understand her position as I’ve work at a register before so if she said she needed a minute to finish what she was counting that would have been understandable . But her reaction was to roll her eyes and swear before saying yes, we took our tart and she swore again about how she had to count the till again. 2 years as a checkout chick being harassed by people daily and I never once reacted so disgustingly, I have read other reviews about some rude girl and her lack of customer service. Super disappointing as I have spoken so highly of the desserts served here and am I always quick to recommend it to friends, I will continue to do so but it seems I will only do it to friends who I know will swear back.

It caught my eye as I walked past. I stopped briefly to consider, but moved on. After finishing what I was on my way to do, I decided to come back, because of... The salted caramel cheese tart, the newest addition to the Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tart family. Here for a limited time, but I hope they decide to keep it permanently. Loved the decadent pop of gooey salted caramel and topping of crispy golden cornflakes. Sweet and salty, gooey and crunchy. Great little treat for $4.20, made even better when you can earn 10% back as rewards when using the Liven payment app (sign up with code UMQEEC to get an instant $10 welcome credit - that'll get you two of these babies with change to spare!)

Petite, delicate and delicious cheese tarts. Very typical of dairy desserts in Hokkaido in their soft texture. We tried the yuzu, strawberry and blueberry tarts and they were all awesome. Worth trying for something really different.

Delicious Japanese treats, a little pricey, but these baked cheese tarts are worth every penny. Plenty of different flavours to choose from. Staff were friendly and time efficient.
