My partner and myself recently visited this family run establishment and it is such a lovely place. Great coffee and food, everyone was friendly and welcoming and plenty of comfy seats. But our highlight was being welcomed by their sweetheart dog Debbie and big fluffy cat! Highly recommended!

Couldn't star the food as we didn't have any HOWEVER.... the lady who owns The Gallery is an incredible artist and it shows in the decor. Before I go any further, this is also a great bar with lovely cocktails. Stunning is an understatement, there is something interesting to look at everywhere you turn. Inside and outside, just beautiful, a gorgeous place to visit. I just wish she opened every day and night, but alas, only Thursday to Saturday. Friday being the only late one till 10pm. Go and visit, you won't be disappointed.

Lovely family-run cafe in a gallery (or possibly gallery in a cafe!). Very friendly service, food is great (definitely get a slice of cake) and there are plenty of comfy sofas to sit on. Definitely recommended.

Well, what can I say? This is quite frankly the loveliest place You are transported into a quirky, beautiful arty paradise. The artwork of local artist and owner of the gallery Helen parsley decorates the walls with style and elegance. The atmosphere is just wonderful, the seating, sumptuous, and relaxing, whilst the little courtyard at the back makes you feel as though you're somewhere else entirely. The food is delicious 😋, and there is a great choice of food and drink. The service is absolutely amazing, I just love coming here. There is something quite magical about it. I would highly recommend a visit to the gallery 😊

This has to be the most lovely, relaxed and comfortable café in Manchester. The menu is great, simple and tasty food with amazing service which is swift yet friendly. A great place for early morning or mid-day in either winter (inside) or summer in the outdoor courtyard which is really very nice indeed. Hope to be back soon when visiting Mum @ Bowfell.

A big shout out to a small family ran business...please read👏 I just wanted say a big thank you to Emma, Helen and the helpful young man (sorry I didn't get your name) at The Gallery on Brook Rd, Flixton. I booked The Gallery on Sunday for a private party for my Mums 80th birthday. What can I say other than wow!!! What a beautiful place, beautifully ran by a beautiful family, serving the most amazing food, they couldn't have done anymore! All our guests said the same. This is a hidden gem away from the main routes and probably gets over looked but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go and take a visit I can assure you you won't be disappointed! It is such a homely environment with warming colours and lots of comfy sofas and chairs dressed with blankets and fur rugs surrounded by quirky antiques. Look up and you'll see the amazing chandeliers elegantly lighting the beautiful space. Helen also decorates the walls with her original art work that is for sale hence the name. Oh it's also dog friendly so you have no excuse not to go. The artistic vibes are even present in the presentation of the food, I've never seen food presented like that and it really works! Not only do they have the indoor space, there is more seating in the ginnel and the rear walled cobbled yard decorated to the same standard as the indoors...complete with heaters and lights. Another bonus is The Gallery doesn't just serve hot drinks and food it has a alcohol licence for your favourite tipple! So if you want to meet a friend for coffee or treat yourself to an afternoon tea this is your place. Or you you can hire the whole place for a private function. This would be such a perfect place for an intimate wedding function, it's so pretty! Go and support your local business! Louise xxx

We had a lovely lunch at the Gallery, pea and ham soup for my brother and a jalapeño chicken melt for me. The garden at the back is beautiful and indoors the cafe come studio (once an old co-op shop) is effortlessly cool. On top of all that they are donating their tips to the Pakistan flood appeal and they took care of my phone when I abandoned it (not for the first time and sadly, not the last either).

Lovely cafe, wonderful outdoor area at the back, the place is beautifully decorated. Nice staff and good food. Strange thing to say but the side salad with my sandwich was the best I'd ever had
