Went for Sunday lunch. Lovely place with good river views and ambience. SUPERB food; every morcel perfect and unique🙂😋 Excellent friendly service. But remember bottled water is extra (a lot). Tricky place for wheelchair users. Our dining chairs were very uncomfortable! But left very happy🙂

We had a wonderful dinner experience at Newbridge on Usk. The food was stunning and the service was faultless. The location is also beautiful, with a lovely drive through the countryside to reach it. We are looking forward to returning.

"Hidden along the tranquil riverside of Tredunnock village, the Newbridge Inn on Usk is a true gem waiting to be discovered. Having reviewed numerous accommodations over the years, I can confidently say that this inn stands out as the best I've encountered. The moment I arrived, a warm and friendly receptionist welcomed me, setting the tone for a remarkable stay. The rooms at Newbridge Inn are a testament to luxury and attention to detail. Equipped with modern amenities such as a Dyson hairdryer, heating tongs, and a large Dyson fan, every need is meticulously anticipated. The inclusion of a Smart TV and a range of thoughtful accessories, down to a toothbrush, further showcases the inn's commitment to guest comfort. One of the standout features is the inn's layout, with the rooms thoughtfully tucked away from the restaurant area, ensuring a peaceful and private experience. The quality of the bed and pillows only enhances the sense of relaxation. As for the dining experience, the food is nothing short of exquisite, and the service is consistently prompt and friendly. In my book, the Newbridge Inn deserves a perfect rating of 5 gems. Each diamond represents the exceptional experience I had during my stay. Without hesitation, I highly recommend this hidden treasure to anyone seeking a remarkable getaway. I, for one, am eagerly anticipating my next visit. It's moments like these that remind me how much I love my job." 💎💎💎💎💎

Thoroughly enjoyed our three course Saturday lunch at the Newbridge. This place has changed a lot over the years, but under the stewardship of the Celtic group its developed into a lovely fine dining pub serving great food in a relaxed atmosphere. Choice of four starters and five mains and desserts. Only one vegetarian starter and main but fortunately it was amazing. Kohlrabi Carpaccio for starters, Garden Tartlet for main and Chocolate Mousse for desert. £26 for three courses. Service excellent and the setting on the river, idyllic. Please add an extra veggie option for dinner so we can come again!

Absolutely incredible Sunday lunch! We were delighted to be welcomed to the Newbridge on its opening weekend, and wow what an opening. Their new head chef is very talented, all the food was just wonderful.... one of the highlights being the kohlrabi carpaccio which was so surprising and flavourful. The Sunday dinners we had (pork and duck) were both delicious, loved the touch of having special sauces for each meat with plenty of extra gravy for the table! The desserts were fantastic, our waitress recommended the tarte tatin which is apparently one of the chef's specialities, and it did not disappoint! Our table of 4 adults and 2 children was well looked after and very comfortable. Loved the live music as we came in too, what a nice surprise. Afterwards we strolled down to the terrace to see the view over the river, can't wait to sit on the terrace over summer! We will definitely be back.

A fantastic location overlooking the River Usk. Food very good and an absolute steal with their Monday-Thursday offer. Sadly due to CV19 the restaurants lunch service was very quiet which meant the atmosphere was somewhat disappointingly missing but wasn't a reflection on the quality of both the food and service we received which were both outstanding. Thoroughly enjoyable lunch and a restaurant well worth a visit.
