We arrived a 8:45pm and I assumed that our choices would be limited. I was wrong! This place was great. The food was delicious, they cooked a whole new batch of chips and we were able to eat in.
The perfectly prepared fish, chips, peas, spicy potatoes that we had were all hot and tasty. The batter of the haddock was bubbly and a perfect colour. It had a wonderful, satisfying crunch. Superb!
The staff were capable and polite, and the service was fast. Top marks Fishy Business, I would love to visit again.

Always spot on. Have used several times now and always consistently very good. Hot, fresh fish and nice non greasy chips cooked perfectly. Chicken's very good too, not formed bits.

We had an excellent meal that we ate in as a family (with some disabilities) after a long day at Alton Towers; good value, friendly staff, great food. Would happily use again and happy to recommend.
The only downside however was there are no toilets should you need them, and the Smithfield Hotel across the road went out of their way to make people feel unwelcome.

Our Friday night family treat. We’ve ordered via the website ever since last Summer and it’s very convenient. We usually arrive just after they have been wrapped up. The chips are the right balance of fluffy and crunchy and the fish is soft and moist without the batter being too oily.
