Reopened and rebranded as the Riverwalk Cafe. This is no longer a pub, but a restaurant and shisa bar. The food is very good, European style with Greek/Turkish influence. The vibe is very much North African.
The starter portion is quite big. I had an aubergine dish with flat breads. It was delicious, but enough for 2. For my main I had grilled lamb and vegetables with rice. Again very nice indeed.
It is a dry bar, they serve 0% beer and wine, with the usual soft drinks. Currently they are in a soft launch phase, opening at 5pm for a dinner service.
The outside area has been heavily upgraded and looks very good. This is clearly where they want to push their unique selling point in the Uxbridge area.

Excellent Authentic Chinese food at very reasonable prices, average dish is 80p-£1.50 cheaper than other Chinese restaurants in the area, they also have no service charge and the best bit is you get pub drinks, highly recommended, parking is tight though.
