Styled as a gastropub, The Runway has a nice ambiance to it. Customers speak highly of the service. As well as a spacious bar area there is a very nice conservatory and an outdoor decked area.

Came in for a drink with hubby on our walk to the local store.
We loved the cosy pub so much we made a dinner reservations for the following evening.
Our food was so fresh & flavoursome.
Definitely recommend this gem of a place for first dates / datenights and families.

Been there atleast 5 times since the week this place is opened . Fantastic experience. Food and drinks are perfect. Happy and friendly staff. Hosted a party for my son's first communion in there. Since the day I booked the table, Daniela (Manager server)was very helpful. All my guests are pleased with the quick service, delicious food and the happy/peaceful environment. 👍👍

Been here twice now. Delicious both times. The quality of their food is superb. Their chips are perfect!! Crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The cod I had was very fresh and crispy. No bad oily taste. The mushy peas were also the best I've had. Perfect amount of mint added. I loved the tartar sauce too. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his grilled chicken sandwich. And the perfect ending to the meal was a most delicious sticky toffee pudding. Not only beautiful but sooo yummy. My grandfather-in-law was delighted by it. Especially with the ice cream on the side. I can't wait to come back again to enjoy the great service and wonderful food!!

Been here twice now, second time to celebrate my birthday. Had a great time, the food is delicious. I highly recomend the platers for starters.

Have been here several times since they re opened. The menu is fab, calamari is one of my faves. Everything we ordered was delicious and really well done from the chicken burger to the pork chop. I Have also had the Sunday roast here, which was awesome. I am slowly working my way through the menu, can't wait to go back for my next lunch 😉.....the valentines day menu looks really good too!

This area has very few decent eating places and The Runway is a very welcome addition. It wouldn't necessarily stand out somewhere else but in Cowley it does! The pub has been newly refurbished and is a pleasant (and not too noisy) place to eat and chat. I ordered fish and chips. Served on a board (drop one mark for that) the fish was nicely cooked and the chips were excellent - thick cut, crisp on the outside, floury in the middle - perfect. I had an IPA beer on draft that was very nice. Service was polite. Would I recommend the Runway? On this single experience - yes.

Really nice pub. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was very good too. Only quibble would be the price as it was quite expensive for a lunch. We would go back though and would recommend to friends.

Love the renovation, very nicely decorated inside. I have eaten here twice since it's opened, really enjoyed my steak and ale pie. Fish and chips are really tasty too. Alcohol is quite pricey for the area, but the London pride is good.
