This restaurant is the one I always prefer. I visit a lot of restaurants but to this one I constantly return again and again. The team is very professional and the cooking they cook is so good. I would always prefer to have a decent dinner here. Highly recommended.

Eight of us dined at the Birothi Restaurant on Saturday evening. From start to finish the experience was excellent. We had to postpone our booking and even then our guests were late due to a delayed flight. Even so the table was kept for us and the service was charming. All our dishes were served quickly and were plentiful and very tasty. We payed £20 a head including drinks, very good value for the great quality. Thank you, all at the Birothi

Good service and surprisingly good food. Would like to see a mango lassi on the menu, but that's not really a big deal :) I tried the chicken chilli massala, saag aloo and garlic naan and they were a cut above similar restaurants, a few more more finishing touches and that extra bit of tastiness as a result.

My family have dined here for years, so I thought it was time to post a review! The quality of the food is always excellent, served in generous portions. Service is polite and very good. We generally go for the Sunday afternoon 'Special' which is excellent value (around £9 for 3 courses).

Pretty good local curry house. Visited recently with party of 6. Nice decor if you don't mind eating in a wood :-) Staff are always welcoming, pleasant and knowledgable about the food. Big menu, lots of choices, and very nice curries. I recommend The Birothi as a reliable night out.

Good food, poor customer service. The food is good, but the customer service is terrible. The staff are so rude! I still go there but only for takeaways so I only have to put up with a couple of minutes of rudeness!!!!!!

No points for service. The food was good, I can't fault them on that, but I was constantly ignored by one waiter after another who just walked past my table even though I was waiting for some attention. After my main course I was reading my newspaper and finishing my pint of Kingfisher, when suddenly a waiter came to my table and whipped off the tablecloth causing me to grab my belongings (phone, glasses, newspaper & beer) before they ended up on the floor. What's the hurry? I hadn't spilled anything on it. Then they brought me the dessert menu. After being ignored again for the next 15 minutes, I got up and walked to the front of the restaurant where the cash register is situated. I told the chap who was adding up my bill about how I would have liked a dessert and a coffee, but nobody came back to me to take my order. He said nothing. I told him that it's pointless giving a dessert menu to a customer if nobody is going to take his order. Again he said nothing. I asked him if he agreed with me. He said "Yes sir". No apology. No more custom from me. And definitely no tip. It's a shame as this used to be the best Indian that side of the A40. Not any more.

Fine dinning, nice deco. Suitable for romantic dinner for 2, family get together or corporate event. Staff are really friendly and food very tasty. Highly recommend it.
