Very friendly pub and yummy home cooked food and local ales. Very welcoming to our little dog too and great service. Was pleased to see some nice vegan options.
We were warmly welcomed and served delicious home cooked food. The peas were fresh and the gravy was yum! Lovely experience and happy to recommend!
Well what can I say, what a lovely rural pub. Had our 1st carvery here and what a pleasant surprise. Thoroughly enjoyed the roast. Very tasty as much as you could eat, staff really friendly chatty great atmosphere. Small dining area which I preferred so you could have a decent conversation without h
Lovely little pub. The locals were friendly, the owners were great and the food was absolutely delicious, highly recommend if you're in that area
One of the best meals we've had and the chips are the best in the world 💯%.
Nice little local spot, was passing by and stopped for a pint and dinner, home cooked and super friendly.
Such a lovely place. A group of 8 of us booked in for a meal on the saturday while camping near by. Staff were excellent and attentive, food was proper pub food and drink was good value. Would definitely go back and recommend to any one staying near by.
Just the ticket. 2 portions of Chicken Madras and our fave wine. The landlord was welcoming and friendly, finding time to have a chat.
This is a splendid country pub. The setting is perfect. We had a couple of drinks outside on a sunny evening. (It does happen!) We returned two evenings later and ate a delicious meal...the duck was cooked to perfection. Dessert was excellent. Our little dog's behaviour was unaccepable. The s
Another delicious Sunday dinner with yummy home-made mushroom soup and other fabulous veggie options. Thanks Rich and Diane for a lovely afternoon 😋😋
Quick drink on our mini walk through back to our campsite :) We sat outside due to having 2 little ones and felt happier there. The man we did see seemed friendly we think possibly owner 😊
Local pub, dog friendly and very homemade food
Most beautiful experience one could hope for. I fell in love with this place and it's people. The food was what I loved about the products (I sadly didn't have as much time as I would have liked to experience more). In particular one of the lamb roasts they used to do before Covid. Sadly, from what
Lovely friendly pub. Full of locals, which is always a good sign. Not been here in ages. New proprietors seem really welcoming. Will definitely be back soon to sample the food.
Lovely friendly local pub. Only popped in for a quick drink following a walk in the local area so can't speak to the food or anything but seemed nice enough!
Lovely pub but it looks like they are going to close down soon.
Lovely place with delicious food and friendly staff. We stopped for lunch on our cycling trip to Brecon and enjoyed every bite from our meal. Hope to be back some day.
Don't know the landlord's name, but what a gentleman, made us feel welcome and the drinks, food and service was perfect. Must place to go A++ from me.
