Lovely and tasty Mothers day lunch today all cooked fresh. Also a lovely touch of gifts for the Mums thank you definitely recommend all to visit. Thank you
Very friendly pub and yummy home cooked food and local ales. Very welcoming to our little dog too and great service. Was pleased to see some nice vegan options.

Well what can I say, what a lovely rural pub. Had our 1st carvery here and what a pleasant surprise. Thoroughly enjoyed the roast. Very tasty as much as you could eat, staff really friendly chatty great atmosphere. Small dining area which I preferred so you could have a decent conversation without having to raise your voice.... Nice quiet and personal... We shall definitely be going back. Thanks to everyone for making it an enjoyable experience... Food was excellent !!!! 🙂👍

Such a lovely place. A group of 8 of us booked in for a meal on the saturday while camping near by. Staff were excellent and attentive, food was proper pub food and drink was good value. Would definitely go back and recommend to any one staying near by.

Just the ticket. 2 portions of Chicken Madras and our fave wine. The landlord was welcoming and friendly, finding time to have a chat.

This is a splendid country pub. The setting is perfect. We had a couple of drinks outside on a sunny evening. (It does happen!)
We returned two evenings later and ate a delicious meal...the duck was cooked to perfection. Dessert was excellent.
Our little dog's behaviour was unaccepable. The staff were so tolerant.
This is a smashing place and we shall return, without the terrier!
