Mouth watering food made from high quality ingredients. The pies are freshly baked throughout the day and delicious. The freshly made cream teas are amazing too. Friendly staff, excellent service and it's worth the walk up from the beach. Highly recommended.

I’m really glad I didn’t check the reviews before deciding to go to this place for breakfast. We were actually planning to go somewhere else but it was closed and this was the only place that was open. We had the smashed avocado, and toast with homemade butter and jam - really delicious and very well presented! The waiter was super friendly too. It’s sad to read so many bad reviews.

The cream teas were awesome. The blueberry & fruit scones were fluffy delights so much so we bought extra and they were as scrumptious the next day! Extremely great value for money. Thank you for making our trip to Ventnor that bit special!

The best on the island. They only use high quality ingredients that include: Meat from the local butcher, real butter, fresh eggs and Belgium chocolate (as required). Everything is fresh daily. There is always something different each day too.

Great bakery on Ventnor high street with a variety of pastries, pasties and drinks. Had a warm London house pastie. It was lovely.

We have been on holiday in Ventnor and we stopped here for breakfast today. Very clean place, the food & drinks were excellently presented and the service was great. We had Eggs Benedict & the Bubble & Squeak. Highly recommend.

Just had an absolutely amazing roast dinner. Lovely setting, delicious food and amazing staff and service. Managed to squeeze a pudding in too which were absolutely scrumptious. We will be back!

I went here with my family. We booked a table in advance which I strongly advice if you want to gurantee a table as the food here is top notch. I have been going to The Kitchen for years however sadly I now live on the mainland so I am unable to visit as much as I use to. It is safe to say that as soon as I found out Sunday Roast was on the menu I just had to make a visit to Sally, Ben and the team. Everything was cooked to perfection. Sometimes you'll have a roast dinner and it'll be average at best. It is clear that Sally and the team have thought of every last detail. The cauliflower cheese was delicious, the beef was perfectly cooked, the roast potatoes were just right and the yourkshire puddings were large and fluffy. Regardless of where you live on the Island you can't ignore "The Kitchen" if you love a Sunday roast. Too quote one of my family members "This is the best roast I have had on the Island".

The kitchen has done the right thing after reading reviews from these vegans complaining. If it hadn’t been for the minority of you there would still be options I’m sure, however the people you need to complain at at the arrogant vegans amongst you that made it so the Kitchen decided it wasn’t worth the trouble catering for moaners etc. good for the kitchen, I hope your business does well
