A wonderful surprise hidden in the country side. You can find fresh prey and sea fruit on the men, cooked in a way with great attention. I remember especially the Scottish egg, first time for me to try, and the bar was raised very high. But! The real marvel is the dessert chef. Highly recommend the seasonal parfait, you can taste talent exploding in the mouth. The balance of different flavors and colors as well as textures are just magic. They also offer a good variety of wine choices. Only thing missing I’d say is some creative cocktails.

Wow wow wow!!! This little gem is a place everyone should go to, I had just heald our annual chef of the year competition, so wanted to treat the chefs to some great food they didn't have to cook. Each dish was created with beautiful plating and perfectly balanced meals. I had the beef croquettes, Boston steak and did try the after 8 dessert which was stunning. The freshly Baked cider bread and home made sage butter was just put of this world. The barman and resturant waiter were fantastic. We did ask to see the chef but he didn't have time or was to anxious to see us. Which is a shame as we just wanted to congratulate the kitchen team.

In the last two years the Bailiwick has become my #TheLloydies Gastro Pub Dining Experience winner and it’s not hard to see why. This firstly has been due to the amazing food created by chef / owner Steven. Then you have top pastry chef / owner Ami with her excellent array of delicious desserts. You also receive the friendliest of service from Liz and her young team. I have to say that after our latest visit it would be very hard for anyone to stop them making it three in a row. I say this because on saturday evening we enjoyed the most amazing Game Tasting Menu. The evening started with the usual friendly welcome from Liz and the team before enjoying a drink at the bar. My wife loved the Clarified Milk Punch while I went for the new spanish Cruzcampo lager now on sale at the pub. We were then escorted to our table and once comfortable we were shown the evening’s Tasting Menu using all the amazing local produce from the Windsor Great Park. There was also the option of a wine pairing so we decided to opt for this as well. The first course was Tea and Snacks featuring a Bone Broth , Rabbit Croquettes with Bacon-naise. The broth was full of flavour and the croquettes were heaven. We enjoyed this along with Bread and homemade Sage and Onion Butter. This was followed by the Game Terrine with pickled heritage carrots and hedgerow ketchup. I have to say this was one of the best terrines I’ve eaten in a very long while. Next to come was the Venison Doughnut with “chilli con carne” , puffed rice and sour cream. This was quite simply stunning. Then things got even better with the next course of Hare Royale Tortellini with lyonnaise onions and sauce soubise that was incredible. We now moved on to the main course which was worthy of being the main dish on any menu. The Stuffed Ballotine of Partridge with truffle gratan , chanterelles , burnt young leek and sauce albufera that was just sublime. Now it was time for Ami and she started with a fabulous pre dessert of Apple Sorbet with sorrel. For dessert she offered us the chance to choose from any of the desserts on all the menus. My wife chose the ‘After Eight’ a dark chocolate delice , peppermint , cocoa nib and mint ice cream. For myself I had to choose the evenings special dessert. The Apple Crumble topped with caramel and served with ice cream and cream. This was easily the best crumble I’ve enjoyed for many years so once again thank you Ami. We finished with a coffee and petit fours to bring to an end a truly amazing dining experience. The food was absolutely incredible , the desserts were delicious , the service was very friendly from all the team. This place really is a must visit and I can’t recommend the Bailiwick Pub highly enough. Whether it’s for a quick bite after a walk round the Windsor Great Park or for lunch or dinner it’s definitely worth popping in. I would also recommend Sunday Lunch where you will enjoy one of the best roasts ever. Thank You Steven , Ami , Liz , Arran and all the team for a fantastic evening and look forward to seeing you all again soon.

What was meant to be a quick lunch stop during a walk in Windsor Great Park turned out to be a very memorable culinary experience. The food was amazing. I highly recommend the torched mackerel. The service was impeccable. The outdoor seating in the sun made it all perfect.

It was our last meal of Summer holiday. What a LOVELY & BEAUTIFUL dinner we had. And the STAFFS! They had more than hospitality itself! I d like to mention the manager and nice staffs who helped us to get back our belonging left on the chair. And the food; it just felt like as we had walked alongside in between small paths of woods in Egham, discovering local charms. Definitely worth and recommended.

Amazing food and service. This restaurant is located not far from the saville garden (1 min drive?) there are paying parking (£4 for 2 hours) available just outside of the restaurant. We went on a Saturday in summer and just walked in with good seating available. Food recommendation: Poutine (amazing jalapeño with fries, never had this in elsewhere before!) and dessert please go for the banana one (called “grown-up” something) it’s soooo delicious!

Really pleased to see this great little pub re opened. Booking online was super easy. We arrived today for our first anniversary meal. We were greeted at the door by the waiting staff and shown our seats. I like the way the interior has been designed, with the bar, front and centre. Our server Liz was delightful, very knowledgeable about the dishes and you could see she had a passion in what she did. Everything from the antler handled cutlery to the freshly made sourdough bread to the pastry chef was sublime. 3 courses for £50, was worth every penny. I started with the Shellfish gratin, moved to the Venison reared in Windsor Great and finished with the 'Grown Up' Knickerbocker Glory.
