We had a great Sunday lunch here. The staff were lovely and the service was great. The best bit by far is the view across the valley. Make sure you visit on a nice day and take full advantage of the outdoor seating!

Received a lovely warm welcome. Enjoyed our food, had the early bird Friday offer 2 main meals for £20 which was good value. Wouldn't have been so happy paying full price as feel £15 for a baguette is very expensive
Me an my partner had the giant filled Yorkshire pudding and they weren't half filled!
It initially came with no gravy but we digged in regardless and it was still absolutely delicious, we then asked for gravy and wow it stepped it up to another level!

Lovely hill side pub overlooking valley. Nice atmosphere with friendly staff and a good range of Timothy Taylor beers. Food looked very good and pub was clearly popular with plenty of people eating on both friday and saturday nights
We ventured here after a Sunday explore around the local area and enjoyed a lovely meal in the warmth after getting soggy.
A beautiful log burning fire greets you and warms the soul. It was very busy when we arrived, which can only be a good sign and boast of a places reputation.

We called in for food and drinks in this beautiful pub and had a minor issue with the food . I spoke with James the landlord directly and he was courteous and extremely professional offering us another opportunity to dine there on the house.We will go back soon we have just had difficulties getting
First time in the pub, we only called in for drink. It’s a proper pub with an open fire. The bar staff are polite & friendly. Will definitely call past again for a Sunday dinner because it looked and smelt very good.
We went on the off chance as a walk in and the staff were so accommodating for my friend and nervous rescue dog. They even managed to put us somewhere quiet to help put my dog at ease.
