We went on the off chance as a walk in and the staff were so accommodating for my friend and nervous rescue dog. They even managed to put us somewhere quiet to help put my dog at ease.
Food was gorgeous, huge portions and well worth the price. Location is second to none with stunning views all around. Lovely red wine. Staff were really friendly. This place is a stunning cosy little gem. Can't wait to come back and stay the night. Thanks for making our day x

Lovely, lovely country pub. Dropped in for an anniversary lunch yesterday and they managed to fit us in no problem. Beautiful location and a beautifully decorated old fashioned country pub with a roaring fire. The food and drink was absolutely first class and our server Millie read looked after us well. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back. 👍👍👍

Absolute beauty of a spot, views to die for, food was beyond excellent. Service spot on, staff/owners can't do enough for you. One of the best if not the best meals out we have had and a top pint to accompany it. Will definitely be back and can't recommend highly enough.

Fantastic meal for my husbands 70th birthday. Brilliant choice of drinks all in a lovely setting, log fires, comfortable atmosphere, all served up by happy smiling helpful staff. A venue not to be missed.

If you want a nice cozy pub with excellent service and good pub grub go here. The staff were so friendly, the locals were friendly, the little dog was friendly (you get my drift). Food really nice and hearty. Highly recommend.

The staff are all so lovely and polite . Service is 5 star !
And the food is amazing not a fault at all , as full as I was from my meal I couldn't turn down a dessert!

We held a celebration of life at the Hare and Hounds. The staff made the special day run with such ease. The catering they provided was amazing and everyone was so impressed with it. The staff are so warm and friendly and really went above and beyond for us. Couldn’t have asked for more and we are very grateful.

Power cut for a birthday - staff lit candles and we played board games which, to be honest, was actually quite nostalgic and cosy.
Landlord went all the way down to the works and sorted out the energy company to refuel the generator and a good night was had by all!!
