One star knocked down due to slow service, and that I had to call a waiter over to take our orders. Other than that this would've been a five star review
Owner did apologise twice for slow service. So I believe it was a one off.

Went here last night for the first time (have used the take out options a fair few times though via just eat). Really enjoyed the meal. We were really looked after. The menu choices are modern and different and the staff and owner were super passionate about their craft.

Me and my partner visited last night for the set menu deal. The food was amazing, can’t fault it at all. The service was great, it was busy for a Wednesday night but the guy who I’m guessing is the manager/owner still took time out to come and speak to us. We usually go for an Indian once a week and
Absolutely fantastic meal! The best culinary indian experience...in Wakefield, Yorkshire! The chef must be really passionate about cooking with this wonderful flavours. You can't get this quality in London very often. Well done. 5 stars or more if they were available. Thank you.
Love Rice and Spice, best Indian restaurant in Wakefield by far. Very friendly staff and great service. We have used as a takeaway during lockdown but can't wait for the restaurant to open again. Kamal and his team are superb with looking after their customers .
The food is out of this world! The waiters are so pleasant and friendly! Friendly atmosphere and it's my top favourite restaurant! They deserve more than 5 stars! Come down, you don't be disappointed! Ty rice and spice! (:
got to say since we moved to wakefield we have struggled to find an indian restaurant/takeaway, what can I say absolutely amazing. It would have been 5 stars but we didnt get any sauces with our starters which we are used to, apart from that I think we have found our new local
We always enjoy visiting Rice N Spice. The food is fantastic and the service and hospitality is second to none. We often take friends and family when they come to stay and they are also very impressed and look forward to returning. THIS is the place to go for a curry in Wakefield.
Great friendly service and really tasty dishes. Have been twice now since dining-in has been permitted and will be back again soon.
Hands down the best curry I've ever had. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great and the service was faultless. Kamal (who used to work at Red Chilli) looks after you well. He recommended the Malai Chatt which was superb. Really deserves the awards he has received.
