got to say since we moved to wakefield we have struggled to find an indian restaurant/takeaway, what can I say absolutely amazing. It would have been 5 stars but we didnt get any sauces with our starters which we are used to, apart from that I think we have found our new local

Love Rice and Spice, best Indian restaurant in Wakefield by far. Very friendly staff and great service. We have used as a takeaway during lockdown but can't wait for the restaurant to open again. Kamal and his team are superb with looking after their customers .

Hands down the best curry I've ever had. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great and the service was faultless. Kamal (who used to work at Red Chilli) looks after you well. He recommended the Malai Chatt which was superb. Really deserves the awards he has received.

One star knocked down due to slow service, and that I had to call a waiter over to take our orders. Other than that this would've been a five star review
Owner did apologise twice for slow service. So I believe it was a one off.
Excellent starters, highly recommend onion bahjis. Curries was nice however a few of our curries didn't come out steaming hot as some of our other dishes. All curries did get polished off. Paratha was a little heavy and dense from ones I've had in the far east. Nan was very good and the Rice's was all cleared, garlic rice was most talked about for recommendation to anyone who would come

Me and my partner visited last night for the set menu deal. The food was amazing, can’t fault it at all. The service was great, it was busy for a Wednesday night but the guy who I’m guessing is the manager/owner still took time out to come and speak to us. We usually go for an Indian once a week and have our usual favourite however we will definitely be returning here again now.

Went here last night for the first time (have used the take out options a fair few times though via just eat). Really enjoyed the meal. We were really looked after. The menu choices are modern and different and the staff and owner were super passionate about their craft.

We always enjoy visiting Rice N Spice. The food is fantastic and the service and hospitality is second to none. We often take friends and family when they come to stay and they are also very impressed and look forward to returning. THIS is the place to go for a curry in Wakefield.
