I've recently been here for a meal with my dad who is in his 90s and other family. Easy to find off Denby dale road opposite the tip. Easy and level car park and parking Level walking to the door. Friendly and efficient staff showing us to the table The food was delicious and excellent Portions were great and the price was very reasonable Loved the desert as well Especially mine. I love lots of custard 🍮 I follow Wetherby whaler on my Instagram account jafthegardener as it doesn't matter which venue I go to the quality is great. Definitely 5 stars from me and my family We really enjoyed it and will be back soon It was quite busy and this is a great indicator of how good it is ❤️❤️

Best fish and chips ever benches outside to sit on batter crispy and not greasy chips crisp and tasty. Easy to reach location just off M1 going into Wakefield. Well worth a visit.

Best fish and chips ever gorgeous crispy batter beautiful white fish chips hot and very tasty A special mention to our waiter Reece Excellent service his rapport was brilliant 👏 he really was superb a credit Well done and Thank you Reece Well worth a visit a little on the expensive side especially 30p now a slice of bread but totally understand why!!! As is always said you get what you pay for and it was certainly worth the money

Really nice fish and chips. Tasted really fresh and not greasey at all! Puddings are beautiful aswell! Will definitely be going back. Thank you!

Beautiful fish and chips.. Just puzzled as to why when your driving round and in circles to get a parking space when there's a local walking group abandoning their cars in car park and we couldn't get in.. Saw lots of people just drive away because they couldn't get a parking space.. Whilst I was waiting there must have been over 10 vehicles parking up with people getting out with walking attire on not even going into the restaurant or take away

At present it closes at 8:00pm. My party got there around 5:00pm and we were seated immediately. The restaurant became busier and by the time we left there were over a dozen people waiting to be seated. I recommend getting there earlier so you should be able to get seated straight away.
