Ordered 2x Medium fish and chips Small curry and small peas.
This would feed a family of 4. They have to be the best F&Cs ive had. Cooked to perfection. Very well priced and to top it all, the staff were brilliant. my new go too for F&Cs. All the 5 star reviews say it all.
Can’t fault it ! The secret recipe batter is some of the best I’ve ever tasted!!
Nicely portioned & presented.
Only problem is that they weren’t grumpy 😠

Called in at Lunchtime and this place is AMAZING and the best fish and chips we have had in a while .Also Spam Fritter was DELICIOUS and the shop is spotless ,fresh and clean looking decor and friendly and efficient service. Will certainly be calling again if passing .
When visiting family in Flockton we regularly visit the Grumpy Fryer because not only are the fish and chips excellent but they come in whopping great portions too, meaning great value.

Just had food with kids and was amazing. Mushy Peas are wonderful and the chips were the best I’ve had in this area because of the flavour. Will have to try the fish next time :-) also these chips beat the Kingfisher
Absolutely beautiful fish, chips, chicken nuggets, peas and curry sauce, highly recommeded.
We always get our fish and chips from here every month. Beautiful food. Good sized portions. The lovely staff are always so friendly and welcoming.
