Me and my daughter visited this little gem of a place on Tue 17th July for an Afternoon Tea just for a nice treat! It’s a quirky little place like an antique shop with a tea shop upstairs! I was browsing around looking for an Afternoon Tea which was close by and good value for money and I came across The old Curiosity Shop! I checked out the reviews and photos and every single review was excellent! Definitely wasn’t disappointed at all top class service from Lynda and the food was brilliant, homemade cakes sandwiches and buns including crisps and strawberries! Didn’t want to eat it as it all looked so lovely! Even had two homemade trifles on the top plate! If your looking for excellent value in a quirky tea shop with gorgeous food excellent customer service you need to give this place a visit, you wouldn’t be disappointed at all! Been for quite a few Afternoon Teas and I think I could rate this one as the best one�

Lovely shop lots of interesting things... But the tea room is a must visit... Afternoon tea for two is Devine, the home made cakes are delicious, as much tea as you can drink all in China cups. The lady who runs the tea room is so friendly and really helpful 100% going again Thank you for a lovely afternoon
