Bridge Inn

We've been coming now for a while and come every 2 to 3 weeks on average. Usually have pizza for my son (autistic and he loves it!) and we have a burger usually one of the chicken ones! The service and has always been professional, polite and welcoming. We wouldn't keep coming if the service was not good :)

we had booked for a joint birthday party, so there were 7 of us, the food ordering was quick and simple at the bar, the staff member gave us all the options for the allergies and alternatives. the food was served quickly and was very warm and delicious. we then had brought a cake, which one of the waitresses helped get ready and light the candles. overall a brilliant experience and day, will definitely return

Stopped for afternoon drinks to enjoy sitting next to the canal in the sunshine. Decided to stay on and eat, as we had such a good spot. Ordered food and another round of drinks by scanning the QR code on the menu to avoid queuing in the bar. Our food arrived within about 40 minutes, which for a busy Saturday was good. Sadly, after an hour the drinks still hadn't turned up, so I had to chase them up with a member of staff. The drinks arrived shortly after and by way of apology, we were offered a pudding each. The food is typical chain pub fayre - tasty and reasonable value. Would definitely return.

Despite it's location on the edge of Wakefield centre, the Bridge Inn is a lovely place to relax on a hot, sunny afternoon. There are lots of tables overlooking the canal for those who want a quiet drink, with further outdoor seating at the other side of the pub if you prefer to watch sports, plus a good play area for children, so something for everyone. Food is lovely and reasonably priced and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be visiting again soon!

I visited the Bridge Inn recently and had a great Sunday lunch. The service was excellent, Shelley and the team were friendly, helpful and attentive, We visited with my relative whom is in a wheelchair and Shelley went out of her way to make sure we was looked after. The food was delicious, We were made to feel very welcome and had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend the Bridge Inn to anyone looking for a great meal and an enjoyable experience.
