Absolutely love this place. It’s got a bit of everything plus more. Every time I go there are great bargains to be had. And ice cream. Only downside is can’t leave without spending a ton of money 😂
Good selection of both indoor and outdoor plants at reasonable prices. The deli counter is worth a visit as the steak pies are packed full of tender, succulent meat. Great selection of cream cakes and I think there is now a butchers although I haven’t yet purchased anything. Selection of seasonal fresh veg available
Travel here from Chesterfield.. We like it very much.. Plenty to choose from.. Now the Butchers counter. Looks amazing!!!. Had food there and good portions.. Can't wait for the Sunday lunches to arrive.
Visited the aquatic department after recently setting up a mea tropical fish tank at home. The staff were rapt helpful giving advice about what to do, avoid and suggestions. Will be heading back for more stuff on the future.
Garden centre is pretty good too.
An Aladdin's Cave of not only gardening staples, plants, furniture, tools and food, but stuff that you never thought you needed until you saw it on display! We come for the good value plants, the cafe and for us, the different garden statues which you may not find elsewhere.
A star knocked off for the hap-hazard way the store is laid out though, which does make it difficult to find things sometimes. Their range of pots, containers and other items are displayed under a cavernous, plastic roofed warehouse which gets uncomfortably hot during the summer and they do love their instructional signs which lay down the rules on how to queue and present your purchases at the check-out to what you can and can't touch as you walk around. Like being at school! Still worth a visit and a browse around.
Affordable with very friendly staff. The plants are all in excellent condition, those that are reduced can usually all be saved/reduced as they are no longer flowering. It's very good, cafe is lovely too
Omgoodness what a place, it has everything at great prices, from indoor plants outdoor plants, meats, home made pies, aquarium which I must say was small but the fish looked healthy, a cafe and an ice-cream parlor. I would really recommend going and having a look it's a big place inside. Disabled parking, wheelchairs to use. We are going back, oh save your pennies as there's loads to buy 😉
Easy to find, good parking, absolutely huge with everything you might need and more. Large houseplants selection, decent amount of outdoor plants, tons of garden accessories, a Christmas tree section, Christmas shop, interiors, DIY section, little pound shop, party / card shop, pet/fish shop, and a food shop/ deli. Some great prices / bargains. Staff were really nice and helpful too. Will definitely be returning thanks.
