Popped in passing by and we had Scampi and Steak and Ale pie, which came with loads of peas and green beans and huge jug of gravy, both meals piping hot and fantastic food, will be returning soon

Drove past this place a few times decided to call in for Sunday roast, didn’t book but they had a table, food served in good pace and was amazing all meat cooked perfectly and veg topped with a fantastic gravy then I finished off with a lovely apple crumble and custard. Service was also top notch

Only called in for a quick drink on the way to a friends dinner do. Warm greating was received on the early Saturday evening, though the place wasn't busy. Looked promising as there was a live band later on.

Really welcoming dog friendly pub. Run by a dedicated couple who take time to chat and make you feel welcome. Comfortable and spacious and with good food and beer at reasonable prices. Would highly recommend.
