Really nice food. Very polite and courteous staff. Food was good size portions for a reasonable price. Had the gammon with egg. Was really good.
Really welcoming dog friendly pub. Run by a dedicated couple who take time to chat and make you feel welcome. Comfortable and spacious and with good food and beer at reasonable prices. Would highly recommend.

Drove past this place a few times decided to call in for Sunday roast, didn’t book but they had a table, food served in good pace and was amazing all meat cooked perfectly and veg topped with a fantastic gravy then I finished off with a lovely apple crumble and custard. Service was also top notch

Four of us had a great meal last night at The British Oak. Two had fish and chips, one had burger and I had gammon. All meals very good. Service by the young lady who served us was excellent, friendly, polite, very welcoming. Will definitely be back.
