The Lupset

I can't comment on the food as I haven't eaten there yet. That's only because we don't eat out very often. We keep talking about giving it a go as the menu looks nice. The service has always been good when I have been in, even when really busy. There are lots of live bands, quiz nights, family fun days etc. It's great for a local pub, I really hope it thrives and becomes a focal point of the community like it used to be. I went into labour there during the quiz, in December 1994!

What can I say! The welcome we got for our first visit was lovely, and we cannot wait to return....definitely a Wednesday to Saturday to feed the family next time! Thank you, we will be back! 29.7.23 O.K...been back loads of times since my review and never had a bad meal, in fact, as a family, we are working our way through a very lovely menu! Not only are the meals wonderful, so are the staff who are friendly, professional and a pleasure to speak to. Thank you all.

Lupset has gone through so many hands in the last 20 years. After Chris and Mags left it was good for a while and then fell off a cliff. All the wrong clientele and just not a place that you wanted to go to. Glad to say that the newest owners seem to have rectified this and the vibe is a lot more chilled and family friendly. Food could do with a change, perhaps a new menu or something. Staff are very friendly and a good laugh.

Absolutely lovely family friendly pub with a great atmosphere that does so much for the community! It’s also dog friendly and children are allowed in until late as long as accompanied by an adult. I opened a local dance troupe this year and Gemma the manager has been nothing but amazing. She’s supported us allowing us to fundraise at the pub. She’s doing so much to help bring the community back together. Her and all the staff are brilliant, super friendly, the customer service is amazing. The food is absolutely beautiful, freshly cooked, can’t recommend enough!

Called into the Lupset after hearing new kitchen team on board, what a difference, food amazing, plates nice and warm and service with a smile, they even let me buy a cooked sausage for my pooch. Nothing too much trouble for them will certainly be visiting again sooner rather than later 😀😀. Thankyou for a great afternoon.
