The food is absolutely delicious but as per the previous review you can never tell when they're open, they weren't open last week on Friday and now not open today? Why have such an amazing takeaway and then hardly ever be open
We ordered a selection of different food including burgers, pizza, chicken tikka on naan, sides etc and everything was really tasty and you could tell it was super fresh and quality ingredients were used. This place is a little more expensive than other takeaways but I could tell the difference in quality, I will definitely be ordering again and suggest that you give them a try!
I was having a bit of a moment yesterday and not only tried a new takeaway, but I tried pasta from a new takeaway. I don't know what Mr Happy does to their pasta, but it was hands down some of the nicest pasta we've ever had (not limited to takeaways)! I didn't have high hopes when I saw how vastly varied their menu is - but I plan to order here again to try other items after reading some of the reviews. We had the raggatoni and the mac & cheese, plus some cheesy garlic bread - not the hardest or fanciest meals, but good enough to feel like you've just been hugged by your Italian Nana.
Hands down, the best takeaway in Wakefield, food is incredible, drivers are courteous and really friendly.
Delivery takes a short while but you have to be patient for quality.!

Beautiful food, loved every mouthful. Plz if looking at reviews don't use just eat and pre order, as we discovered they don't do it. After phone call we received our order in no time and it was on time and delicious.
Me and my wife have just tried Mr Happy after hearing reading reviews and WOW! Very, very happy with our order. We had a panini each with chips and lemon cake and it was absolutely delightful. Really cheap meals (£3 each for the panini and £2.50 each for cake) The cake is soooooooo delicious, fluffy and delightful. Tastes sooo good. Tastes like they are freshly made on the same day. The driver arrived on time was very friendly too. Definitely ordering again!! Well done Mr Happy. We are Mr and Mrs Happy. 5*
I'm not one for leaving reviews, but tonight iv shared a special mixed chicken kebab with my partner.
And it was absolutely amazing. All was cooked to perfection. Best take away food I've had ever. Thanks guys will order again for sure.
Mr Happy provides the best mixed kebab ever. Period. It's just the best! The meat tastes like its just been BBQed that day. Trust me, don't bother with the rest, this is the best!
Best takeaway joint in Wakefield.
Food is always hot, and tasty, never had a bad meal from here. (Spicy fries are particularly good) but their kebab meat cannot be beaten, best I've tasted anywhere.
If you want a negative, you have to wait for your food (although we've never waited longer than 1 hour) but then again it's an extremely popular, and busy place, so it's not really a criticism, just order earlier!
Just last night we made a big order, but they forgot to send our medium Donna meat.
After calling back, they were very apologetic and sent out a large portion straight away. When it arrived (very quickly) not only had they upgraded the portion size, we got a complimentary bottle of pop.
Top class service and we won't go anywhere else
