Absolutely fantastic hearty indian food. went for biriyani a curry sauce onion pickles and raita, portion is generous and came with a side of veg curry which itself was rich with a deep flavour. Delivery was quick and food piping hot. Not greasy at all. Amazing!
Don't get all the negative reviews. Used Alis a few times curries always been nice love the baltis, and the nans and chapatis are cooked fresh and don't go crispy. Delivery always on time and food piping hot. Cheaper to order on the website.
I have to admit I was dubious about ordering from here given all the bad reviews but we weren't disappointed.
The portions are huge and we certainly have a couple of more meals out of one takeaway, which cost us around £20 as they have 45% off at the moment. I got the biryani and it was massive, it could easily serve two people.
The delivery was early for us, not late, and the food was everything you'd expect from a takeaway curry. We ordered early, for delivery at 5:30pm on a Friday and this probably helped rather than waiting for peak time when they may have limited drivers. That being said, I'm sorry to read about all the bad service that has been explained below, it's always best to say if you're going to be late or what the wait is.
The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I was lucky to have been born in Bradford and I've had some excellent curries. This didn't blow my socks off taste wise but the service, sizing and delivery were excellent.
I ordered lamb. It was really delicious and tasty. The staff is very professional and humble. Highly recommended to order your food there. You will definitely like it.
Ordered for the first time tonight. The food arrived 10 minutes earlier than expected. What a lovely meal so far... we ordered a starter and 2 curries and were sent poppadoms and pickles free. We ate the poppadoms and the starter which were great. Every thing was freshly cooked and as you sometimes get in other places, not greasy at all.
We are saving the curries for tomorrow's lunch.
Food is delicious. Best curry around. Only problem is delivery can be hit and miss. We’re gonna see if we can collect next time as food honestly the nicest and no upset stomachs the next day.
Been ordering from these guys for 8years. 8 years says it all there kebabs are the best in Wakefield and the curries are great also. Had special Turkish kebab on naan tonight it was fantastic and not overly greasy value for money no doubt. I collected the food so can't comment on the delivery service. 8 years of ordering ive had 1 bad one I can remember but that was delivered. Will look forward to plenty more Alis. 5* for me.
Very good, would recommend to every person who loves his curries, it was a really good experience, very friendly and honest staff, really helped me out.
The best thing is the prices are very good compared to other curry places, because you get what you pay for, absolutely beautiful, really wanna give a hats off to the staff and quality.
Bit confused by the poor reviews on here, the wife and I have ordered twice now and I genuinely have to say their Lahori Tikka Masala is one of the nicest curries I’ve ever had, plenty of chicken and generous portion, and unlike other takeaway no ‘ill effects’ the morning after. Will definitely be ordering from here again many times to come.
