10out of 10 again .we love markies food .asked the manager to get vegetarian burgers an he did I tried the vegetarian burger .was beautiful.will definitely be getting again .very good value for money .fresh ingredients.hot food .an also the little pots of hot sauce is very spicy

One of the best places to eat in Wakefield in my opinion and only down the road from me. All food is delicious and the milkshakes are top quality. Great service and it’s clear to see how popular this place is. Will definitely be a regular. Highly recommend 🍔⭐️

Surprisingly, one of the best burgers I have had.
The burger even looked like the photos on the menu boards, so that was a good start.
Usually not a fast food person, but this was so good, we came here 3 times on the 5 days were were in this City .

Definitely the best beef burger in Wakefield, this has replaced Five guys for me, it’s nicer and cheaper. Great service too. I think they are very reasonably priced too. I only have one critic, please stop using polystyrene, especially for eat in customers. ☺️

We had a good experience here last week and thought that the food, staff and atmosphere were lovely. The gentleman who served us was kind, funny and helpful with the menu. The food itself was traditional but delicious and had a few different twists that I hadn't seen before ,Probably not somewhere we would go all the time (or could afford to go all the time!) but was a wonderful experience .

First time visiting, got two children’s meals popcorn chicken, it was great well worth the money and very good portion size will definitely call again

Markies my go to place in Wakefield,never once let me down with their standard of food quality and consistency and the customer service is excellent.Ignore all the negative comments and keep smashing it.

Food is very nice & great prices. Grilled chicken is so nice! friendly staff too. Only thing i would say is they need to clean the dining area all the tables was dirty so had to ask for a table to be cleaned for us to sit & eat.

We were visiting from London and thought we would try this place out, I'm really glad we did. The classic smash burger was delicious, it had so much flavour and wasn't dry at all. The chips were nice and fresh and the lotus biscoff and snickers milkshakes were absolutely delicious! Would definitely eat here if I was visiting again, highly recommend.

First time used tonight for a massive order. Food was cooked excellent and tasted amazing and great friendly service too.

Nice burgers for a takeout with a friendly service:
1. Friendly customer service - polite staff; food served in good time / we usually phone in and pickup 👍
2. Nice burgers: we like the chicken filet burgers; the 'Night Rider' burger is worth a dabble if you like charcoal baked buns; the sauces are usually a third full / so good to check beforehand if you want more; the fries are a little too crunchy for us; we like the rice dish's / ‘Chicken Chawal Box’👌
3. Eat in capable - good variety for kids; limited seating with around 7-8 tables in a cosy setting / good for a quick sit down and eat while you look out across to the busy Horbury Road and greenery around Thornes Park 😉
4. Prayer room facilities - for staff only, local mosque 10 mins walk away 🤲
5. Tricky and limited parking - I usually park behind the building then dive into to do a quick pick up; some parking available on the main road
