Pop in here for a coffee when I can, which is some of the best I've found in Wakefield (£1 for an espresso).
Portuguese shop with very friendly staff who are happy to chat. Lots of imported groceries (meats, cheeses etc) as well as a fresh counter for hot snacks and cakes.
There is a restaurant in the next room, I've not had a chance to try the food but from what I've seen it's authentic Portuguese/Cape Verdean home cooking. Will be trying that as soon as I can.
