Cycled past lady summer and it looked like the kind of place we wouldn't like, full of rowdy men outside. Came back last week and it was quite pleasant. Excellent service. Biggest and juiciest bacon chop I've ever had. The Scouse was okay but could have been hotter. Good spot for watching the ships sail by.
Lovely old pub in great location. Very nice staff and delicious food. Plenty of seating, warm, good music. 5 stars from us!

Not sure if we came on an off day but wasn’t the best experience really. Hunters chicken was extremely dry, and cheese not melted. Fryer oil needed to be changed from the taste of the chips. Didn’t eat it at all. Shame as the service was okay.
Nice setting for this real ale pub by the river. Good fare the leek and chicken pie with gravy and Mash is amazing. Good service and traditional decor.
