We went to Chutneys to celebrate a friend's Birthday. It was lovely.
There was a large choice of food on the menu which all tasted as good as they sounded.
The waiting staff were very friendly and helpful, with nothing too much trouble for them.
I was impressed that I could take my own wine which was opened for me at the table.
I will certainly be returning to this lovely restaurant with their very tasty curries.

Beautiful place to eat, me and my wife have been coming here for years. Since we started seeing each other, after my daughter and son were born we unfortunately hadn't been able to go for over 3years. We managed to go on a date night and the manager remember us after all that time he was really pleased to see us and actually sat us in our old seat when we used to dine there. The food it beautiful and the staff are incredible. O e of the best places to eat locally.

Great selection of Indian cuisine, calm, friendly atmosphere and reasonably priced. We have been many times, fully enjoyed each visit and not had any reason to complain. Also provided is a takeaway service.

A fantastic night. The food was fantastic And authentic.

Have been going to Chutneys for years. The food is consistently fantastic and the service and staff can not be faulted. We are always made to feel extremely welcome. Weekends and a Wednesday night (banquet night) can be extremely busy and we constantly see people being turned away at the door as there are no tables so I would strongly recommend booking in advance! Over the years we have tried other Indian restaurants and takeaways but nothing has beaten here yet. If you haven’t tried it yet, go for it, you won’t be disappointed!

This place is always busy, which is indicative of how good the food is. The staff are friendly and helpful, too. I definitely recommend booking in advance, especially on days when they run the Banquet deal - Wednesdays and Sundays.

Resturant is great and very clean... staff are friendly with good sense of humour and patience ( you need that with my family 😁)

Called in with a couple of work partners for some food and drink. Met the owner Shah and some of his staff and had a good night. Excellent service, great tasting food, and friendly atmosphere. I'd recommend you try this place out. I'll be revisiting 150%

food was great, service couldn't fault, we had a table for 16 and they catered for us all, food was brought out on time. decor and atmosphere of the place was fab, would certainly dine here again.. and a bonus for having cobra on draught. 👍

Excellent meal as always, had a table next to us full of rough girls who were loud and obnoxious but that didn't spoil our meal. Seemed to be complaining about anything and everything but this food is spot on every time !

We eat at Chutneys on a regular basis and would highly recommend this restaurant not only for the fantastic food but for the ambiance and service which are equally as good. We have takeaways too and are always pleased with meals.

First of all booking a table was easy through the website. Got text and an email confirmation too. We have arrived at 6 pm. The restaurant wasn't busy yet only 2 tables and ours. But slowly many more table got guests, the phone was busy, which again a good sign, and was lots of take out customers.
Friendly staff showed us to the table. We've got what we ordered, which is always a good sign :-)
The food was really delicious and plenty. The price is down to earth, not too expensive, but not too cheap either. Definitely will return.

Regular (weekly) customers for many years, Chutneys is by far and away the best curry house around.
Quality of food and service exemplary.
We have no hesitation in recommending.
