AMAZINGGGG. I love so close to new brighton!! i love this place!! i love the staff and i love to eat here!!! i have never ever had any bad dishes and only been treated badly one time, by a man who got fired after his second day working there!!! :) i have many friends who work there and they all are friendly the best part is that its free salad!!!!!! :))) i would HIGHLY RECCOMEND you to come here for parties and just normal going-out meals!! its a really good place to go and you wont regret it!1
Good pub with a fantastic view. We were immediately met by someone at the entrance and given a table for 6 which I was surprised at considering it was bank holiday I would have thought it would be a wait. Our server was Diego who was great waiting on us and entertaining the kids (including me) the only thing that let the place down was the food. Not that it was done incorrectly, it was just a bit plain.
Visited here recently with the sunny weather. Sat outside and with the view of the beach felt like we were abroad! We both had a brekky, my partner got a full English and I had a sausage pattie with cheese. We both really enjoyed it. Staff helpful and friendly. A +++++
Much improved since my last visit some time ago. Unbeatable location for a chain bar and restaurant. QR Odes remain post covid so table service is easy.. Of course there's a little wait time when it's busy, that's why they give you drinks first and let you help yourself to the salad bar.
It's decent value for what it is, food was all hot and fresh and served relatively quickly given it was a sunny day.
Can't fault it for a bit of lunch or dinner by the beach. If you're wanting fine dining, you'll want Sheldrakes on the other river.
The staff are attentive and friendly given the pace of things, so some of the reviews feel unfair based on my experience but that's the world we live in.

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and what a breakfast it is here. Create your own full English breakfast that's unlimited. Great quality food at a reasonable price with excellent service from all the staff. A special mention for Diego, always smiling and so happy. Makes the dining experience even better.
Came here today for Breakfast, sat on the much improved terrace and enjoyed the view whilst having the Classic Breakfast. All the staff were very friendly, and efficient, the food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the flat whites and iced latte were perfect. Would definitely recommend this as a place to visit now.
Our server Stuart was great - Friendly, welcoming, helpful and efficient thought the meal. Even the kids commented on how nice he was! Food was fine, usual harvester type fayre, but hot and cooked well, and my burger was nice and juicy. it's an ideal place for families with having the help yourself salad bar, and kids menu.
The food here was delicious. We have eaten at other harvesters, but this was by far the best.
The views over the Irish sea are amazing, and the place is clean and tidy.
Haven't been here for years. Thought we would stop by for a quick drink. Nice warm day at the end of the school holidays, so fairly popular. Sat out on the terrace overlooking Liverpool Bay. Comfortable seats, cracking view and refreshing drink. Staff friendly and professional. We didn't eat this time. The menu looked good as did the food being served. Not like other Harvester's, so next visit we'll eat
We had a superb meal,chicken skewers and a mixed grill,which were unreal….excellent service Alicia who looked after us superbly,going above and beyond her duty…We’d recommend Derby Pool to anyone…Thank You Alicia for a wonderful experience x
The Harvester Inn provided a delightful dining experience. The option of 3 starters for just £13 was not only budget-friendly but also a tasty way to start the meal. The complimentary salad added a fresh and healthy touch to our meal. The cocktail, priced at £5, was a great value and a perfect accompaniment to our dishes.
However, what truly stood out during our visit was the exceptional service provided by our waiter, Diego. He was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that we felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout our meal. His positive attitude and dedication to customer service made our dining experience memorable.
Overall, the Harvester Inn offers affordable and delicious dining with a fantastic atmosphere, and Diego's outstanding service made it even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience at a reasonable price.
